The contact stated upon discovering the smoke, the contact noticed fumes and flames coming from the engine compartment and the rear undercarriage. The contact stated the vehicle was unoccupied at the time of the fire. The fire was extinguished by the Fire Department. A Fire report was filed. A Police report was not filed. The dealer was contacted. The vehicle was destroyed. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 30,000.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2019 AUDI E-TRON. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, SEVERAL UNKNOWN WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AUDI TYSONS CORNER SERVICE DEPARTMENT (8598 LEESBURG PIKE, VIENNA, VA 22182) HOWEVER, THE MECHANIC WAS UNABLE TO PROVIDE A CAUSE FOR THE FAILURE. UPON RETRIEVING THE VEHICLE, THE CONTACT STATED THAT HIS WIFE WAS DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH, WHILE ATTEMPTING TO MAKE A LEFT TURN, WHEN SEVERAL UNKNOWN WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED AND THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED BACK TO THE SAME DEALER WHERE THE VEHICLE REMAIN UNREPAIRED. THE MECHANIC WAS AGAIN UNABLE TO PROVIDE A CAUSE FOR THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 5,000.
