DISTRIBUTOR FAILED AT ONLY 22,000 MILES DUE TO DESIGN FLAW ALLOWING IT TO BE EXPOSED TO MOISTURE WHICH CAUSED THE BEARINGS TO SEIZE. MANUFACTURER REDESIGNED FAULTY PART IMMEDIATELY IN FOLLOWING MODEL YEAR TO INCLUDE VACUUM SEALS WHICH PREVENT THIS PROBLEM BUT DID NOT RECALL AND REFUSE TO REIMBURSE EXCESSIVE COST ($1,600) TO REPAIR KNOWN DEFECT WITH LT1 ENGINE ON 1994 MODELS. *LA
WHILE DRIVING AT 25 MPH ENGINE IDLED, CAUSING THE DRIVER TO PUT THE VEHICLE IN NEUTRAL. CONSUMER CONTACTED DEALER ON THREE SEPARATE OCCASIONS , AND PROBLEM RECURRED. *AK
CONSUMER CALLED COMPLAINING WHILE DRIVING AT 55MPH THE TEMPERATURE GAUGE WENT UP AND DOWN, TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE NEAR SHOP, A TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSIS THE HEAD GASKET WAS LEAKING, MANIFOLD FAILED AT 114000 MILES AND THE COOL FOUND LEAKING. PLEASE PROVIDE FURTHER INFORMATION. PH *TR
ENGINE CHECK LIGHT ILLUMINATED FOR THREE WEEKS. TOOK VEHICLE TO DEALER WHO STATED THAT ECM VALVE NEEDED REPLACING. *AK CONSUMER WENT TO THE DEALERSHIP TWICE. THE DEALER GAVE CONSUMER 175 DOLLARS TO HAVE THE VEHICLE REPAIRED, WHICH WAS NOT ENOUGH ACCORDING TO THE MECHANIC. THE MECHANIC STATED THE LONGER THE VEHICLE IS DRIVEN WITH OUT HAVING THE PART REPLACED, THE ROUGHER THE VEHICLE WILL RUN. THE VEHICLE KNOCKS AND WHEN TURNING THE TRANSMISSION MAKES NOISES. *JG
OIL PAN AND OIL LEVELER MONITOR SWITCH INSIDE PAN COMPLETELY RUSTED OUT, THIS IS OBVIOUSLY DUE TO DEFECTIVE MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP, COMPLETE LACK OF QUALITY WITH THIS BRAND. THE MANUFACTURE IS SELLING INFERIOR AND DEFECTIVE, FAR FROM QUALITY TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC COSTS TO REPAIR IT WAS 540.00 ON COMPONENT THAT IS COVERED IN OIL AT ALL TIMES....IMAGINE THAT. I HAVE DEMANDED IMMEDIATE RE-IMBURSEMENT FROM THE MANUFACTURER. *AK
ANYTIME IT RAINS IF VEHICLE RUNS THROUGH ANY SIZE OF PUDDLE ENGINE BELT STARTS TO SLIP, AND VEHICLE LOSES POWER/STALLS. *AK
VEHICAL ALWAYS MATAINED, OIL CHANGE EVERY 3,00 MILES,FLUIDS CHECKED RECEITS FOR ALL. ENGINE BLOCK SHOULD NOT HAVE CRACKED. VEHICLE WAS NEVER ABUSED. *AK
THE EGR VALVE WAS REPLACED TWICE IN 2 YEARS. *AK
ENGINE STALLS, ALMOST RESULTED IN AN ACCIDENT.
WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE AT ANY SPEED A LITTLE NOISE CAME FROM UNDER THE HOOD WHICH BECAME LOUDER AND LOUDER. WHEN TAKEN TO DEALERSHIP THE FLYWHEEL WAS REPLACED. THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN TAKEN BACK TO DEALER TIME AND TIME AGAIN FOR VARIOUS PROBLEMS. THE FLYWHEEL WAS REPLACED AGAIN IN MARCH OF 1998 FOR THE SAME REASON. WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE ON MAY 1, 1998, THE VEHICLE SEEMED TO LOSE ALL POWER AND QUIT. THERE IS 60,000 MILES ON THE VEHICLE.

WHILE DRIVING NOTICED SMOKE COMING FROM THE CONSOLE. STEPPED OUT OF THE VEHICLE AND NOTICED THAT SMOKE WAS COMING FROM UNDER THE FRONT END OF VEHICLE. *AK
VEHICLE BREAKS DOWN OFTEN. OWNER WANTS IT TO BE REPLACED. COOLING SYSTEM, WATER PUMP, GASKETS.
