Service anti thief system when trying to start truck message comes on sometimes
Every time I'm driving on highway the truck keeps vibrating and feel like its going to shut off any minute. Also when I try to pass a vehicle it takes couple seconds to responds and then I feel like the transmission kicks. I feel like chevy should do a recall to fix this popular problems. In other words the truck has problems shifting from 1st to 2nd gear. You feel a little kick/jump when you hit the gas.
Fleet vehicles allow shifting from park without seatbelt, intermittently. Another similar year that I drove was easily broken to always allow shifting out of park with no seatbelt where it should have been required. Thank you
The ignition gets stuck when trying to completely shut off the vehicle and wonβt release the key or shut off the vehicle. I was stranded in a parking lot with my young daughter, unable to get the key out. In order to shut off the vehicle and remove the key I had to remove connection from the vehicle battery. The closest dealership is an hour away from where I live and this is our only vehicle so I would not be able to come home until the problem is fixed. No warning or malfunction indicators.
Key keeps getting stuck in the ignition apparently talking to the dealership service department, they have no clue either. Many other people complaining and GM not doing anything about it. This should be a recall since it is affecting many different colorados and different year models also
The key remains stuck in the ignition when the vehicle is turned off. This started occurring intermittently about two months ago but has become constant in the last two weeks. I'm concerned about leaving the key due theft concerns. I have an appointment with the dealer, but my research has found that this problem has been persistent with model years 2016 to the present.
I WAS DRIVING ON HIGHWAY WHEN I NOTICED SEVERAL PEOPLE PASSING ME ON THE RIGHT AND POINTING DOWN AT MY TRUCK. I REMEMBER MY TRUCK HAD SLOWED DOWN AND WHEN I WENT TO PRESS ON THE GAS AND MOVE TO THE RIGHT LANE TO PULL OVER IT DID NOT RESPOND. I THEN NOTICED SMOKE FILLING THE CABIN THAT WAS COMING FROM UNDERNEATH AND UP THROUGH THE TRANSMISSION STICK. WHEN I HIT THE BRAKES THEY WENT RIGHT TO THE FLOOR. I ENDED UP USING THE EBRAKE TO SLOW THE TRUCK DOWN AND PULL TO THE SIDE. WHEN I EXITED THE VEHICLE IT WAS ALREADY ON FIRE AND I PROCEEDED TO MOVE MYSELF TO SAFETY. A PASSING FIREMAN TRIED TO USE AN EXTINGUISHER TO PUT OUT THE FIRE TO NO AVAIL. THE TRUCK ONLY HAD 14000 MILES ON IT AND WAS TWO YEARS OLD WITH NO RECENT WORK DONE TO IT AT ALL
