When pulling out into busy traffic the TCM quit and lost all power to the wheels. Could not move. Luckily the traffic seen we had a issue and swerved to go around us. We found out later this has been a huge issue for GM with TCM on units like mine. If traffic would not have been paying attention they would have hit us and caused injuries to my family and probably theirs. Glad we were not pulling out onto a highway with high speed traffic.

THE FOUR WHEEL DRIVE SYSTEM BROKE, THE YOKE OR UNIVERSAL JOINT GAVE OUT AT THE FRONT DIFFERENTIAL. THE DEALER AND GENERAL MOTORS ARE SAYING IT HAD TO BE DUE TO WORKING THE TRUCK TO HARD, OR BEYOND THE ABILITIES OF THE TRUCK. NO ONE TOOK ANY STEPS TO SEE IF ANY OF THESE PARTS HAD A DEFECT, THE QUESTION OF A POSSIBLE DEFECTED PART WAS RAISED, AND QUICKLY DISMISSED!!!!!! THIS MY WARNING TO ANY ONE WHO IS THINKING OF BUYING A GM TRUCK. DO YOU REALLY HAVE ANY WARRANTY COVERAGE? *TR
