ALL OF THE GEARINGS HAD TO BE REPLACED TWO TIMES. FIRST REPLACEMENT WAS AT 10000 MILES. DEALERSHIP HAS ADVISED THAT PROBLEM EXISTED BECAUSE WEIGHT LIMIT WAS EXCEEDED. CONSUMER WAS NOT EXCEEDING WEIGHT LIMIT. *AK RIGHT REAR AXLE SEAL AND ANOTHER SEAL ON DRIVE SHAFT FAILED. *YH
VEHICLE IS PULLING, FEELS LIKE CRUISE CONTROL IS ON. WHEN AT 35MPH VEHICLE GOES A MILE BEFORE IT KICKS INTO ANOTHER GEAR. WILL MAKE AN APPOINTMENT AT THE DEALER. *AK
VEHICLE WHEN ACCELERATING FROM A STOP SIGN OR FROM A REDLIGHT VEHICLE MAKES NOISE DUE TO DRIVESHAFT BEING LOOSE . THE REMEDY REMEDY IS TO GO IN AND PUT GREASE ON SPLINES OF THE OUTPUT SHAFT TO TAKE OUT THE SLACK OF THE CONNECTION. *AK
THE 10/22/00 DEFECT WAS TAKEN TO A CHEVROLET DEALER IN MICHIGAN. IT WAS FIXED AND WE GOT THE VEHICLE BACK ON 10/27/00. ON OUR TRIP BACK TO INDIANA ON 10/30/00, THE DIFFERENTIAL FLUID WAS FLYING OUT AND IT STARTED THE HIGH PITCH HUMMING AGAIN. THAT WAS BASICALLY TWICE IT WENT OUT IN ONE WEEK! AS OF THIS DATE, 11/2/00, IT IS BACK TO A DEALER IN BLOOMINGTON, INDIANA. *AK
LOUD CLANKING NOISE COMING FROM REAR OF VEHICLE WHEN DRIVESHAFT IS ENGAGING DURING ACCELERATION. I HAVE CHANGED FLUID IN DIFFERENTIAL, BUT PROBLEM PERSISTS. *AK
LOUD BANG/CLUNK NOISE WHEN STOPPING OR STARTING TO MOVE
WHENEVER SHIFTING FROM DRIVE OR PARK INTO REVERSE, THE LIGHT WOULD INDICATE IT'S IN REVERSE, BUT ACTUALLY IT WAS NOT IN REVERSE. TOOK VEHICLE TO DEALER TO CHECK. DEALER WAS ABLE TO DUPLIATE PROBLEMS, BUT NO CORRECTIVE ACTION WAS IDENTIFIED TO DATE. *AK
WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED AND COMING TO A STOP, THEIR IS A BANGING NOISE AND TOO MUCH PLAY WITHIN THE TRANSFER CASE, AND WITHIN THE SLIP YOKE OF THE TRANSFER CASE, IT BINDS.
CAR HAS CLUNKING SOUND WHENEVER YOU ACCELERATE FROM STOP
VEHICLE CLUNKS IN THE REAR WHEN STARTING FROM STOP. DEALER LUBED THE SLIP YOKE AND REPLACED THE DRIVE SHAFT, WHICH DID NOT SOLVED THE CLUNKING NOISE. DEALER BELIEVES MANUFACTURER IS AWARE OF PROBLEM BUT HAS NOT RELEASED A REMEDY.
