Odometer Fraud. The contact purchased a 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact discovered that there was a mileage discrepancy after the purchase of the vehicle. The vehicle was an independent dealer sale. At the time of purchase, the vehicle mileage was 135,000. It was later discovered, upon checking with an OBD2 Scanner, that the mileage was 220,145. In addition, upon checking Carfax, the mileage was 134,426.
The contact owns a 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated that on numerous occasions she noticed that when the vehicle was moist from inclement weather or after a car wash, the infotainment system, instrument cluster electrical features inadvertently malfunctioned. The contact stated that she heard an abnormal sound on the touch screen indicating buttons were unintentionally being depressed. Additionally, the contact stated that the instrument panel was independently reset and became glitchy either while driving or the following day after the vehicle had been parked. No warning lights were illuminated. The dealer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and the contact was informed that the failure was unfamiliar and to take the vehicle to the dealer to be diagnosed. The failure mileage was approximately 44,670.
The contact owns a 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated that the infotainment center lighting and instrument panel lighting was flickering. The instrument panel display switched from the mileage and RPM display to the radio settings that was displayed. There was an abnormal sound of buttons being pushed coming from the display and center console. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who was unable to identify the cause of the failure. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and opened a case. The approximate failure mileage was 50,000.
The instrument cluster. I found a bulletin that describes my problem word for word along with multiple complaints online with the same issue. The PRNDL does not indicate the transmission position Multiple service messages on the Driver Information Center and multiple MILs illuminated The radio does not display the temperature No audible feedback or IPC indicator when the turn signals are operating DTC U0155 (Lost Communication with Instrument Cluster)
Air condition evaporation control faulty.
The contact owns a 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated while driving 65 mph, the vehicle temporarily lost power and stalled. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact stated he was able to continue to drive the vehicle however, a warning message appeared on the instrument panel regarding the trailer brake. The contact also stated that the alarm was frequently engaging inadvertently a month prior to the failure. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, but the dealer informed the contact that they could not assist since the contact had not purchased the vehicle or had it modified at the dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case opened. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 28,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2019 CHEVROLET TAHOE. WHILE THE DRIVER'S SEAT BELT WAS UNFASTENED, THE SEAT BELT WARNING CHIME WAS LOUDER AND LASTED LONGER THAN NORMAL. AS A RESULT, THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO HEAR AN AMBULANCE BEHIND THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO AVOID A NEAR CRASH WITH THE AMBULANCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 1,000. THE VIN WAS INVALID. *BF *AS
PURCHASED 2019 CHEVY TAHOE LT ON 10/27. BEGAN HAVING SERIOUS ELECTRICAL ISSUES ON 11/26 WITH THE MESSAGE OF 'REDUCED STEERING ASSIST DRIVE WITH CARE' MESSAGE APPEARING AFTER VEHICLE STARTUP. WHEN THIS MESSAGE APPEARS VEHICLE WILL NOT GO IN REVERSE AND STEERING WHEEL WON'T MOVE AND CAR ONLY GOES ABOUT 5 MPH IN DRIVE. CAR WAS TOWED AND ISSUE WASN'T DUPLICATING AT DEALER. THEY DID INSPECTION AND RETURNED AFTER A WEEK OF TESTING. ABOUT A DAY AFTER RETURN OF VEHICLE, MESSAGE OCCURRED AGAIN AND THIS TIME WE VIDEOED MALFUNCTION. VEHICLE IS BACK AT DEALERSHIP AND THEY CANNOT REPLICATE AGAIN. FIRST TIME VEHICLE WAS IN SHOP, ERROR CODE U0100 WAS PRESENT AND WE ARE CURRENTLY TRYING TO GET CODES CURRENTLY PRESENT. VEHICLE HAS BEEN IN SERVICE FOR 3 WEEKS AND THEY HAVEN'T FOUND A SOLID CAUSE.
