The LCD of the uconnect control panel has progressively continued to delaminated since about 12-18 months after purchasing. Recently it has become a driving hazard. It presses the screen at random, which has changed the engine performance mode while driving and engaged the manual transmission option while driving. It has made over 40+ phone calls in the past month and has dialed emergency sos services least once. I am now forced to repair the screen myself because no recall has been issued for defective LCD screens.
SCREEN MELTED FROM THE HEAT, RADIO GLITCHES, USB PORT GLITCHES, DOESN'T RECOGNIZE DEVICE, UCONNECT GLITCHES, SCREEN GLITCHES AND DOESN'T STAY CONNECTED AND OVERHEATS. SOMETIMES THE VOLUME BUTTON TOO WORKING.
COMPUTERAPPS ON DISPLAY SCREEN CONSTANTLY RESETTING ITSELF, FREEZES UP CONSTANTLY AND CANNOT TURN DOWN OR OFF RADIO OR ANY OTHER FEATURES UNTIL IT RESETS ITSELF . BACK UP CAMERA TERRIBLE WHEN IN USE AT NIGHT SCREENS BLURRY AND BRIGHT RED FROM BACK UP OR BRAKE LIGHTS. BACK UP CAMERA STAYS ON AFTER VEHICLE IS PUT IN DRIVE HAPPENS AT ALL TIMES IN THE DRIVEWAY, DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY...ETC
UCONNECT 8.4IN SCREEN STARTED TO BECOME BLURRY, LIKE THE SCREEN WAS PEELING AWAY OR DELAMINATING CAUSING MALFUNCTION IN TOUCH CONTROLS, WHICH INCLUDES CONTROLLING VEHICLE PERFORMANCE AND SETTINGS. DEALER SAID SCREEN WAS CRACKED, NOT OF MY OWN DOING. THEY STATED THAT WAS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY, THOUGH VEHICLE WAS CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED WITH ADDITIONAL WARRANTY PURCHASED.
