TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 1991 FORD F150 PICKUP TRUCK. HIS VEHICLE EXHIBITS A NO-START CONDITION. HE HAD TO REPLACE THE STARTER AND THE SOLENOID. NONE OF THE REPAIRS HAVE REMEDIED THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER DUE TO THE DIAGNOSTIC TESTING FEE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 89,953.
OVERHEATING COOLING SYSTEM NOT WORKING. *JB
EXHAUST MANIFOLD HAS CRACKED, CAUSING FUMES TO ENTER INTO PASSENGER'S COMPARTMENT. DEALER NOTIFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.*AK
VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING AND ENGINE DIED. DEALERSHIP WAS AWARE OF PROBLEM.*AK
POORLY DESIGNED CHECK VALVE IN THE FRONT FUEL PUMP CAUSES THE FRONT GAS TANK TO LEAK OUT UNDER THE VEHICLE.
AFTER PARKING THE TRUCK, TURNING OFF THE IGNITION, AND WALKING AWAY, SOME SOUNDS WERE HEARD COMING FROM THE VEHICLE. UPON LOOKING BACK, SMOKE WAS OBSERVED COMING FROM THE HOOD AREA. WHEN THE HOOD WAS OPENED, FIRE ERUPTED. IT IS NOT KNOWN IF THE FIRE WAS CAUSED BY FUEL OR ELECTRICAL FAILURE. RESULT WAS TOTAL LOSS OF UNDERHOOD SOFT GOODS. *AK

FUEL PUMP CHECK VALVE FAILURE CAUSES FUEL FROM ONE TANK TO BE RETURNED TO SECOND TANK. THIS CAUSES SECOND TANK TO EXCEED ITS CAPACITY, RESULTING IN SPILLAGE.
