The contact then stated that while her granddaughter was driving at an undisclosed speed, the brake pedal was depressed and went to the floorboard. The hydralic control system has failed. In April,I did have the car taken to Serra Ford in Rochester to fix the recall 19S54 Brake Campaign. The HCU did pass the test on that date and a DOT 4 flush was completed. Last week the HCU fail and when I took it to the dealership, they said I would need pay $1700 for a replacement part that has shown to be a cause of the ABS failure. Therefore, Ford should pay for the cost of the replacement.
