Additionally, the contact's mother-in-law depressed the brake pedal; however, the vehicle failed to stop. The brake warning light was flashing. The contact's mother-in-law started pumping the brake pedal and was able to stop the vehicle. The vehicle was towed to the dealer however, the dealer was unable to duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 29,000.
