A steering issue is serious, my question is why don’t they have the parts? Why is Honda sending out recall letters telling customers how to get this issue fixed if they can’t fix it!

I called again on 11/20/24 to follow up on this issue. They once again refused to schedule an appointment for me because they don’t have any parts. They also said that there is no waiting list or expected date for when the parts will become available. Nor did they offer any alternative to the problem. When I addressed my safety concerns, they told me “it’s a waiting game”, and refused to inspect my vehicle, saying “there is nothing we can do”.

Steering gear box defective my steering was sticking and pulling me both to the right and left had to keep correcting the steering. The problem was there earlier but thought it could be the lane assist however lane assist was not activated. The problem started out not too bad but got progressively worse.
