The driver side seat has felt loose and not secured for some time and rocking while driving. I am just learning that multiple Infiniti/Nissan models have had similar problem where seat mounts at rail/frame are coming loose and creating a potential safety issue. Previous attempts to have a retailer resolve were unsuccessful as they tried to charge me several thousand dollars for it. I plan to try again at different retailer when I take it in for NHTSA Recall 25V-437.

Driver’s seat will not move forward. Driver cannot reach the pedals. This has been an ongoing/intermitten problem. While the car was under warranty, Infiniti of Ft Myers, FL attempted to fix the problem and eventually replaced the components. The problem was fixed until last spring. When I reported the problem to Nissan last spring, they told me there was nothing they could do. I explained it was a safety issue. They didn’t care. The following day, the seat moved forward on its own so I didn’t pursue it. Yesterday, it happened again and today it did not reset itself. I cannot safely drive my car. In researching this issue, I’ve read that others have had the same issue and Nissan refuses to acknowledge or take responsibility for the problem. What if I were away from home and this happened? How would I safely drive my car? This happened a few years ago and I had to get to a cancer radiation appointment. I drove with a pillow and used cruise control as much as possible. It was a seriously dangerous driving experience, but I had no choice. I would appreciate any assistance your agency can provide.
