2010 Nissan Armada Air Bags

Hello, On 4.25.25 I took my 2010 Nissan Armada into the Thoroughbred Nissan Dealership in Tucson AZ for the recall on the air bag emblem/cover. They replaced the cover and installed 98510ZQ01C: Kit Service Air bag cover. However my air bag light on the dash is still blinking. So, I googled "2010 nissan armada platinum air bag issues" and found that the AI overview stated: "The 2010 Nissan Armada, including the Platinum trim, has been involved in several recalls related to air bags, including those from Takata inflators. Some issues involve potential ruptures or malfunctions of the inflator module, as well as problems with the driver's air bag cover. " So it appears that there is an air bag inflater issue as well as the emblem/cover issue. Since Thoroughbred Nissan replaced the emblem/cover which was covered under warranty, should they now replace the airbag itself due to issues listed with the Takata air bag inflator? The dealership says that the only recall is on the emblem/resin cover. PRIORITY NISSAN MAZDA SOLD A 2010 NISSAN ARMADA WITH AN INCORRECT OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM (OCS) ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT (ECU) AND REFUSED TO REPAIR THE SAFETY DEFECT. THE INCORRECT ECU AND SEAT COMBINATION MAY MISCLASSIFY THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT OCCUPANT AND WILL CAUSE THE AIRBAG TO MALFUNCTION DURING A CRASH. IF THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT OCCUPANT IS MISCLASSIFIED, THE AIR BAG MAY DEPLOY INCORRECTLY IN THE EVENT OF A CRASH, INCREASING THE RISK OF INJURY. ACCORDING TO PRIORITY NISSAN MAZDA OF VIENNA VA, THE DEALERSHIP FOUND CODES STORED B1017 OCS CONTROL - NEEDS PASSENGER SEAT ASSEMBLY TO REPLACE OCS UNIT. NISSAN HAS PREVIOUS SAFETY RECALLS FOR THE SAME TYPE OF ISSUE WITH ALL OTHER YEARS AND MODELS. I AM AFRAID TO DRIVE THIS VEHICLE WITH MY CHILDREN AS IT IS UNSAFE.

TAKARA RECALL: AIRBAG LIGHT IS FLASHING. AFRAID THE AIRBAG WILL NOT WORK IF IN AN ACCIDENT. NISSAN DEALERSHIP WILL CHARGE $1500.00 TO REPAIR. VEHICLE HASN'T BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT. LIGHT CAME ON WHILE DRIVING VEHICLE SEVERAL WEEKS AGO.

SIDE AIRBAGS DEPLOYED AFTER HITTING LARGE POTHOLE. I WAS TAKING MY DAUGHTER AND HER FRIEND HOME FROM A DANCE CLASS AND FORTUNATELY NOBODY WAS INJURED. THERE IS NO THIS AIRBAGS SHOULD HAVE DEPLOYED. *LN
