TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2018 TOYOTA CAMRY. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING AT 10 MPH, THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED HOWEVER, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO RESPOND. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE RPM REVVED UP WITH NO FORWARD MOMENTUM. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WAS AN ABNORMAL SOUND COMING FROM THE VEHICLE. THERE WAS NO WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO TOYOTA OF CLERMONT LOCATED AT 16851 FL-50, CLERMONT, FL 34711. THE TECHNICIAN WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS INTERMITTENT. THE MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN INFORMED OF FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 17,288.
MY 2018 TOYOTA CAMRY SKIPS CONSTANTLY WHEN DRIVING. IT DOES NOT HAPPEN AT A CERTAIN SPEED, I MAY BE JUST TAKING OFF OR BEEN AT A CONSTANT SPEED FOR A WHILE AND IT SKIPS MULTIPLE TIMES. I HAVE REPORTED THIS TO THE TOYOTA SERVICE DEPARTMENT WHEN I TAKE MY CAR IN FOR SERVICE, THEY SAID THEY WOULD MAKE A NOTE OF THE CONCERN. THIS IS VERY FRUSTRATING TO DEAL WITH ON A CAR THAT HAS LOW MILES AND IS ONLY 2 YEARS OLD.

THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED, AND THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 21,600.
WHEN DRIVING MY VEHICLE I GET A STALLED RESPONSE WHEN PRESSING ON THE GAS AND THEN IT JERKS FORWARD. THIS CAN BE VERY DANGEROUS WHEN DRIVING ON THE STREETS BECAUSE THERE IS A LOT IF STOP AND GO MOVEMENTS. IT USUALLY HAPPENS WHEN I COME TO A COMPLETE STOP AT A STOP LIGHT OR STOP SIGN, EVEN WHEN STOPPING TO TURN DOWN A STREET. I'M NOT SURE WHY THE VEHICLE DOES THIS, I JUST BOUGHT IT SO IT SHOULD STILL BE IN VERY GOOD SHAPE. I'M REPORTING THIS BECAUSE IT CAN BE A POTENTIAL HAZARD FOR A CAR CRASH. PLEASE HAVE TOYOTA FIX THIS PROBLEM IN THEIR 2018 TOYOTA CAMRY SE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2018 TOYOTA CAMRY. WHILE PARALLEL PARKING, THE RPMS INCREASED TO 6,000 AND THE ENGINE REVVED AS IF IT WANTED TO ACCELERATE. THE CONTACT QUICKLY DEPRESSED THE BRAKE PEDAL, SHIFTED INTO PARK, AND POWERED OFF THE ENGINE. THE VEHICLE WAS RESTARTED AND WAS ABLE TO DRIVE NORMALLY. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SAME FAILURE OCCURRED ON FOUR DIFFERENT OCCASIONS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO ED MORSE DELRAY TOYOTA (LOCATED AT 2800 S FEDERAL HWY, DELRAY BEACH, FL 33483, (888) 469-2898) WHERE NO FAILURE WAS FOUND. THE DEALER ACCUSED THE CONTACT OF DEPRESSING BOTH THE BRAKE AND ACCELERATOR PEDALS AT THE SAME TIME. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND ADVISED THE CONTACT TO TAKE THE VEHICLE TO A DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER PROVIDED CASE NUMBER: 1811150364. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 7,000.*BF *JB

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO STEVE LANDERS TOYOTA (10825 COLONEL GLENN RD, LITTLE ROCK, AR 72204, (501) 568-5800) TO BE DIAGNOSED, BUT THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE DETERMINED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND PROVIDED A CASE NUMBER. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 2,000.
I'VE HAD THIS 2018 TOYOTA CAMRY SINCE MAY 23, 2018 & I NOTICED NOT EVEN A WEEK LATER THAT THIS CAR HAS A PROBLEM ACCELERATING. I CONTACTED THE SALESMAN, THE SERVICE MANAGER, & THE SALES MANAGER & THEY ALL BEEN GIVING ME THE RUN AROUND. THE SERVICE MANAGER TOLD ME MY CAR WAS SLUGGISH, BUT TOLD THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REP THEY COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG WHEN THEY PUT THE CAR ON THE MACHINE WHICH IS A LIE. I LITERALLY HAVE TO MASH THE GAS DOWN HARD AND PRAY IT GOES. THERE'S DEFINITELY SOMETHING WRONG WITH THIS TRANSMISSION & THEY WAY IT ACCELERATES. AT THIS MOMENT IT SEEMS AS IF THEY DON'T CARE. I'M REALLY STRESSED & DISSATISFIED ABOUT HOW THEY ARE HANDLING THIS.

THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
