The current recall on this car (passenger front seat weigh sensor issue) has been going on for too long (since 2023). Based on the recall info, i have not been able to drive with anyone sitting on the front passenger seat.
My airbag sensory notifications keeps coming on. When I start my car normally it isn’t on but once I start driving the notification will come on along with the ding noise it makes when you don’t have on a seat belt. I notice there was a recall on this issue for the later model Corolla and wanted to see if possibly this could be considered for the 2020 Corolla’s.
ocs sensor recall. the potential of this recall makes me very nervous to drive the car. they haven't tested or inspected the part until the remedy is in. no lights on dash at this time.

The contact owns a 2020 Toyota Corolla. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V865000 (Air Bags); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. An unknown local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. VIN tool confirms parts not available.
I was in a car accident where someone hit us at a high speed from behind. Unfortunately the air bags malfunctioned resulting in my face being busted on the front dash. The car gave me a malfunction warning when they didn’t deploy
I have a recall on my vehicle which there's no remedy for it yet. My California registration was due and I wasn't able to complete my renewal until I had my recall certificate saying it was fixed. Now I'm unable to drive my vehicle in feared to be ticketed or being towed. Toyota needs to do better why am I paying for a car I can't drive. Please help!!!!!
I contacted my local Toyota dealership a couple months ago about air bag recall situation and they’ve told me the parts are not ready yet. Then I called just a couple days ago and they said that the wait time will be next year in 2025 about march or may and I asked the person working there if I would to get in a crash and the air bags don’t deploy what would I be able to do and they said you can sue Toyota. I just think next year by March or May is along time especially if I have my wife in the car too.
My car, a 2020 Toyota Corolla Hybrid, impacted an abandoned motorcycle on the dark road at full speed; however, none of the airbags deployed.
The contact leased a 2020 Toyota Corolla. The contact stated that while driving at 62 mph, another vehicle was driving above 100 mph, crashed into the rear driver side bumper and moved up to the rear driver side door. The vehicle then bounced into the front driver side door ripping off the driver's side view mirror and continued driving. The contact's vehicle slid upon impact and the contact hit his head on the roof of the vehicle then hit the front driver's door window. The contact's right side hip hit the center console. No air bags were deployed. A police report was filed. The contact did not receive medical attention on the scene but later went to the hospital for hip injuries. The vehicle was not towed and the contact was able to drive the vehicle after the collision. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a claim was opened. The manufacturer wanted to inspect the vehicle, however the vehicle rental company had already repaired the vehicle. The failure mileage was 16,535.
