When driving my car it is switching from drive to neutral on the rd

The emissions control warning come on every now and then.. and it goes by it self I have my car completely stock. No modifications... The emission control light come on the dash following parking brake system problem.. I have file another complaint on another form...and it goes away by itself.. I've check with my dealership and they have not responded me yet

Consistent issue with the auto idle start stop system. This has been a continuous problem during the life of the car. It has happened while stopped at traffic lights, in traffic and while in the drive thru line at fast food restaurants. As a deterrent, I try to remember to disable the auto idle start stop every time I start my car.

I have owned this car since new, this is not the first time this has happened. The car has an auto idle stop feature. Which when certain contains are meet and the car is at a stop it will turn off the engine. When the brake pedal is released, (and from other factors) the car will restart the engine so driving can resume. The issue that I am reporting is that the car does NOT restart, the engine is dead. The driver has to press the engine start button a few times while trying to get the car started. This has happened to me more than 6 times over the life of the car. In each situation replacing the battery resolved the issue.

Can lost all power while driving 2 times. Stuck in neutral, should steer, couldn’t brake, all lights on dash board came on and told me to pull over and ally emergency brake when safe. Couldn’t shift car into park. Waited 30 mins with foot ok brake and car off, turned back on and was able to shift to park and all lights were off

My engine got stalled while driving the car and I have to press on push button to restart the car. It's a safaty issue. I have seen a recall on these and verified if the repair is done and looks like it was repaired back in 2019.

While driving on interstate I-15 in Las Vegas the car suddenly without any warning stalled and engine shutoff in the middle of the interstate. No warning messsages or indicators on dashboard. There was sufficient fuel in the car. Several attempts to start were made but were unsuccessful. Mu family and I were dangerously trapped on the Interstate for 30 minutes. I could not move the vehicle to safety. After 30 minutes I attempted to start and it started as if nothing happened and I was able to drive it again without problems. I am not a trained technician but I suspect it could be a fuel pump problem. I hace read that there have been recent safety recalls on Acura/Honda cars for fuel pump issues. Thank you for keeping us safe on our roads.

CAR IS NOT STARTING. BATTERY DRAINAGE MAY BE ISSUE.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 ACURA TLX. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE ATTEMPTING TO TURN ON VEHICLE, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO START. THE CONTACT STATED THAT SEVERAL UNKNOWN WARNING LIGHTS WERE ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO NORRIS ACURA LOCATED AT 8559 BALTIMORE NATIONAL PIKE, ELLICOTT CITY, MD 21043, TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT SEVERAL WIRING HARNESSES INSIDE THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED DUE TO RODENT DAMAGE. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 32,000.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 ACURA TLX. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE ENGINE START-STOP SYSTEM FAILED TO RESTART THE ENGINE AFTER A COMPLETE STOP. THE CONTACT HAD TO MANUALLY RESTART THE VEHICLE HIMSELF. THE FAILURE WAS EXPERIENCED NUMEROUS TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO GUNN ACURA (11911 IH 10 WEST, SAN ANTONIO, TX 78230, (210) 817-1328) AND STERLING ACURA (4801 S IH 35 FRONTAGE ROAD, AUSTIN, TX 78744, (512) 691-3800) TO BE DIAGNOSED, BUT NO FAILURE CODES WERE FOUND. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 21,000.

MY CAR LOST MOTIVE POWER WHILE DRIVING ABOUT 20-25 MILES PER HOUR ON A CITY STREET. I WAS TURNING TOWARDS THE RIGHT INTO A ROUNDABOUT WHEN THE CAR WOULD NOT ACCELERATE EVEN THOUGH I WAS PRESSING ON THE GAS PEDAL. THE CAR CONTINUED TO COAST FOR A FEW SECONDS AND THEN THE ENGINE STARTED AGAIN. I DO NOT THINK THE CAR WENT INTO NEUTRAL BECAUSE I DID NOT HAVE TO PUSH THE IGNITION START BUTTON.

SINCE PICKUP, TRANSMISSION HAS NOT ACTED PROPERLY--WHEN TRANSMISSION IS FIRST ENGAGED IT EITHER THRUSTS THE CAR FORWARD OR DOES NOT RESPOND AT ALL TO FOOT ON EXILHERATOR----I BELIEVE AT THIS POINT IT IS A SAFETY HAZARD. I DO NOT ALLOW MY WIFE OR KID TO DRIVE THE CAR. IT IS BRAND NEW. *JS
