WHEN ATTEMPTING TO PASS, THE VEHICLE WILL HAVE OVER A ONE SECOND DELAY BEFORE IT WILL DOWNSHIFT. THIS HAS LED TO NUMEROUS DANGEROUS SITUATIONS WHERE RAPID ACCELERATION WAS NECESSARY. THIS WILL HAPPEN WHETHER ON A CITY OR HIGHWAY STREET. IT DOES NOT MATTER WHAT MODE OF DRIVE IS SELECTED, SUCH AS SPORT, OR SPORT PLUS. I CAN MOST EASILY DESCRIBE WHAT HAPPENS AS A DROPPING SENSATION IN YOUR STOMACH, AND A SENSATION IN YOUR NECK WHERE YOU ANTICIPATE THE CAR TO "JUMP FORWARD", YET NOTHING HAPPENS FOR OVER 1 SECOND. IT IS QUITE DISCONCERTING! I HAVE BROUGHT THIS BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP ON THREE OCCASIONS AND HAD TWO REPAIRS DONE UNDER WARRANTY, AND I PAID FOR TWO PORTIONS OF THE VISITS. FROM RESEARCHING THE INTERNET, THIS IS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM FOR THIS MODEL OF ACURA.
