TAKATA RECALL: I RECEIVED NO NOTICE ABOUT THE RECALL FROM THE MANUFACTURER IN REGARDS TO THIS ISSUE AND LEARNED ABOUT IT AFTER DOING A SEARCH ON THE NHTSA WEBSITE.
I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR A YEAR NOW STILL NOT FIXED
TAKATA RECALL I HAVE BEEN CONTACTING MY LOCAL AUDI DEALER SEVERAL TIMES SINCE JANUARY 2017 TO FIX THIS ISSUE. HERE IT IS NOVEMBER 2017, TO NO AVAIL THE AIRBAG ISSUE HAS NOT BEEN RESOLVED. I'M BEGINNING TO FEEL UNSAFE DRIVING A VEHICLE THAT HAS PROBLEMS WITH THE AIRBAG. MY AIRBAG REPAIR LIGHT STAYS ON CONSTANTLY. WHAT CAN I DO TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE.
TAKATA RECALL THERE HAS BEEN A RECALL ON THE AIRBAG INFLATORS FOR QUITE SOME TIME. APPARENTLY THERE IS STILL NOT A REMEDY FOR MY SPECIFIC VEHICLE. I DO NOT FEEL SAFE USING MY VEHICLE AS I TYPICALLY HAVE TO CARRY PASSENGERS. THEY NEED TO FIX MY CAR!

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A LOCAL UNKNOWN DEALER IN MIAMI, FL, AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE REMEDY PART NEEDED FOR THE REPAIR WAS ON BACKORDER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
TAKATA RECALL AIRBAG FAULT WITH WAS DETECTED BY A MECHANICS COMPUTER DURING A REGULAR SERVICE/MAINTENANCE APPOINTMENT OF MY VEHICLE. I WAS ADVISED TO CONTACT YOU REGARDING THE TAKATA RECALL.

TAKATA RECALL: I RECEIVED AN RECALL NOTICE DATED 5/27/16 AND HAVE STOPPED DRIVING THE VEHICLE SINCE THEN. AUDI HAS NOT PROVIDED REPLACEMENT AIRBAGS FOR ANY OF ITS RECALLED VEHICLES.
MANUFACTURER HAS FAILED TO REMEDY THE NATIONWIDE AIRBAG ISSUE FOR ALMOST 12 MONTHS OF THE RECALL. THE VEHICLE IS UNSAFE TO BE DRIVEN AS THE INTENDED

THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V382000 (AIR BAGS) AND STATED THAT THE PART WAS NOT AVAILABLE WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME FRAME TO SCHEDULE THE RECALL REPAIR. THE DEALER DID NOT GIVE A SPECIFIC DATE FOR WHEN THE PART WOULD BECOME AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE WHEN THE VEHICLE WOULD BE REPAIRED. THE AUDI DEALER DID NOT CHANGE THE TAKATA AIRBAGS AS STATED IN THE RECALL.
TAKATA RECALL THE RECALL WAS STARTED ON MAY 27, 2016. BUT I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED A NOTIFICATION LETTER FROM AUDI WITH RESPECT TO THE RECALL. WHEN I FIND OUT THE RECALL TODAY BY MYSELF, IT TURNS OUT THAT AUDI IS STILL NOT ABLE TO PROVIDE REPAIR FOR MY VEHICLE. DRIVING SUCH A VEHICLE IS VERY DANGEROUS TO THE FRONT PASSENGER. AUDI AS THE MANUFACTURER SHOULD HAVE BEEN TAKEN CARE OF IT.
TAKATA RECALL:I RECEIVED A LETTER FROM AUDI IN JULY 2016 NOTIFYING ME THAT MY VEHICLE IS SUBJECT TO THIS RECALL, BUT ALSO INFORMING ME THAT "A RECALL REPAIR IS NOT YET AVAILABLE." SEVEN MONTHS LATER, I AM STILL AWAITING NOTIFICATION THAT A REMEDY FOR THIS POTENTIALLY FATAL DEFECT HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED. APPARENTLY, I'M SUPPOSED TO DRIVE THIS VEHICLE AT MY OWN, AND MY PASSENGERS', RISK THAT AN AIRBAG MAY DEPLOY AND RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH. THIS IS ABSURD.

TAKADA RECALL I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET AIRBAG RECALLED FOR OVER A YEAR AND I AM TOLD THE 69P6 IS NOT AVAILABLE. I THINK THIS IS HIGH RISK SINCE IT IS OLDER AND ALSO IN AREA OF HIGH HUMIDITY IN THE SUMMER DEALER STATES THEY CAN NOT GET THE PART (AIR BAG ) TO REPLACE IT.
TAKAT RECALL. WHERE IS THE FIX? THIS IS A SERIOUS DANGER...LIVES ARE AT RISK. I HAVE NOT EXPERIENCED THIS ISSUE AND FIND THE SOLUTION IS TAKING MUCH TO LONG INCREASING THE RISK THAT I DO EXPERIENCE THE ISSUE.
TAKATA RECALL. I RECEIVED THE NOTICE IN THE MAIL ON JULY OF 2016, REPAIR HAS STILL NOT BEEN PERFORMED. AUDI DEALER STATES THAT THEY DON'T HAVE THE PARTS IN STOCK. HOWEVER, NOTHING HAS HAPPENED TO THE CAR AND EVERYTHING IS FINE. I AM JUST AFRAID TO HAVE A PASSENGER WITH ME IN THE CAR. I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE REPLACEMENT SUCH A LONG TIME.
THIS IS NOT A COMPLAINT ABOUT [XXX], MY AUDI DEALER. (MY WIFE HAS AN A6 UNDER RECALL SAME PROBLEM). YOUR WEB SITE SAYS 12 MILLION AIR BAGS HAVE BEEN REPLACED. BUT AUDI TELLS ME THAT THEY HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY INDICATION OF WHEN THEY WILL RECEIVE REPLACEMENTS FROM TAKATA AND I FEEL AT RISK DRIVING MY CAR. TAKATA RECALL- RECALL INITIATED IN MAY 2016. IT IS DECEMBER 2016, AND DEALER SAYS NO FIX IS AVAILABLE YET. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. THEY RECOMMENDED THAT NO ONE SIT IN PASSENGER SEAT, THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND PUTS MYSELF AND MY PASSENGERS AT RISK EVERY TIME I DRIVE.
