IGNITION LOCK UP, COULD NOT TURN OFF IGNITION. MOTOR STILL RUNNING, HAD TO TURN WHEEL BACK AND FORTH TO FIND A SPOT TO TURN OFF IGNITION CONTINUING PROBLEM. WE HAVE ALREADY BROUGHT TO DEALER SHIP TO HAVE PROBLEM CORRECTED. THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO FIND PROBLEM. *TR
I OWN A 2007 CHEVROLET EQUINOX. THE I COULD NOT GET THE KEY OUT OF THE IGNITION AND THE FAILURE CONTINUED AT RANDOM ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE IGNITION KEY ASSEMBLY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED AND THE FAILURE STILL RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE SHIFT CABLE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. 600.00 DOLLARS FOR BOTH REPAIRS. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET EQUINOX. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE DOOR WOULD NOT LOCK AND THE WINDOW WOULD NOT OPEN. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC, WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE WIRING HARNESS WAS DEFECTIVE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 45,000. WHEN YOU TURN OFF CAR AND GO TO REMOVE THE KEYS THEY ARE STUCK IN THE IGNITION. YOU HAVE TO START THE CAR AGAIN AND USUALLY MOVE IT BEFORE YOU CAN REMOVE THE KEYS AND EVEN THEN IT USUALLY TAKES SEVERAL ATTEMPTS. THIS HAPPENS ABOUT ONE OUT OF EVERY FOUR TIMES I DRIVE THE CAR. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET EQUINOX. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE STOPPED THE BATTERY LIGHT ILLUMINATED AND THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS FOUND THAT THE TCM FUSE FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE FAILURE RECURRED SEVERAL TIMES AFTER THE REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE WHO DID NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 76,176.
THE CAR WILL NOT START, THE BATTERY WAS TESTED TO BE GOOD. THE FAN WILL RUN AFTER THE VEHICLE IS TURNED OFF. WHICH IN TURN DRAINS THE BATTERY. WOULD HAVE TO JUMP START THE CAR. THIS WOULD WORK FOR A FEW DAYS AND HAVE TO JUMP START IT AGAIN. THE MECHANIC DO NOT UNDERSTAND AND WILL HAVE TO SEE IT HAPPEN AGAIN TO UNDERSTAND THE PROBLEM. ALL SYSTEMS SHOW NO ERROR MESSAGES. THIS HAS TO AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM WITH THE FAN AND BATTERY. *TR
WHEN I PARK MY CAR I CANNOT GET THE KEY OUT OF THE IGNITION. I HAVE TO PUSH THE BRAKE ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR AND MOVE THE GEAR SHIFT SEVERAL TIMES BACK AND FOURTH BEFORE I CAN GET THE KEY OUT. IT HAPPENS ALMOST EVERY DAY, EVERY TIME I PARK THE CAR. IT IS GETTING WORSE DAY BY DAY AND I AM AFRAID THAT ONE DAY I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET THE KEY OUT AT ALL. I AM UNEMPLOYED AT THE PRESENT AND CANNOT AFFORD TO HAVE ANYONE LOOK AT IT. I FEEL THAT IT IS A DEFECT FROM THE FACTORY, BECAUSE THERE HAVE BEEN SO MANY REPORTS FOR THE SAME THING. I THINK SOMETHING SHOULD BE DONE CONCERNING THIS PROBLEM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. *JS
KEY WILL NOT COME OUT OF IGNITION WHEN CAR IS PLACED IN PARK. THE KEY IS STUCK IN ACCESSORY POSITION. CAR NEEDS TO BE TURNED BACK ON AND GEAR SELECTOR MOVED (AS WELL AS VEHICLE, STEERING ETC.) MANY TIMES BEFORE KEY WILL DISENGAGE FROM STEERING COLUMN. *TR
RIGHT FRONT DOOR WIRING HARNESS IN HINGE AREA (FLEX POINT). WIRES BROKEN CAUSING DOOR LOCKS, POWER WINDOWS AND POWER MIRRORS TO BE INOPERABLE. *TR
THE SPEEDOMETER GO'S FROM 0 TO 120 AT ANYTIME. EVEN WHEN STOPPED. *JS
IGNITION KEY WILL NOT COME OUT, WITHOUT SEVERAL TRY'S . ONGOING THRU 7/3/2012. *JS
I WAS DRIVING THE TRUCK AND IT JUST SHUT DOWN ON ME. SINCE THEN I HAVE GOTTEN A NEW ALTERNATOR, STARTER, BATTER, BATTERY CABLES, FUSES, EGR VALVE, AND POWER RELAY SWITCH. THE CAR IS STILL NOT HOLDING A CHARGE. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET EQUINOX. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH, THE SERVICE TRACK SYSTEM AND ENGINE POWER REDUCE LIGHT ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE CONTACT STATED THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME DIFFICULT TO MANEUVER. THE CONTACT PULLED OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND THE VEHICLE STALLED. ONCE THE ENGINE WAS SHUT OFF AND RESTARTED, THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO BE DRIVEN. THE FAILURE OCCURRED THREE TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE THE TECHNICIANS WERE UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE OR DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND A CASE WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 13,000.
CURRENTLY MY VEHICLE WILL NOT START. IT SEEMS THAT THE BATTERY IS FINE AS ALL OF THE ELECTRONICS IN THE VEHICLE ARE WORKING, INCLUDING RADIO/DOOR LOCKS. WHEN THE KEY IS TURNED ALL OF THE ELECTRONICS JUST "CLICK" AND THE MOTOR DOES NOTHING. THIS HAPPENED JUST AFTER CHRISTMAS THIS PAST YEAR AS WELL. LUCKILY AT THAT TIME I WAS AT MY PARENTS HOUSE AND THOUGH JUMP STARTING IT WOULD NOT WORK, WE WERE ABLE TO CHARGE THE BATTERY FOR ABOUT 6 HOURS AND THEN IT STARTED. I HAVE ALSO HAD NUMEROUS PROBLEMS WITH MY RADIO (ACTUALLY ALL SOUND IN THE CAR - INCLUDING TURN SIGNALS) THAT RANDOMLY JUST DONT WORK OR THAT WHEN THE CAR IS STARTED BLAST SOUND FOR ABOUT 30 SECONDS BEFORE THE RADIO RETURNS TO NORMAL - BUT THE SIGNALS STILL PRODUCE A WIERD, SOMEWHAT ECHOING SOUND WHEN THEY DO CLICK. I HAVE TAKEN IT TO THE DEALER BUT THEY ARE UNABLE TO RECREATE THE PROBLEM AND SEND ME ON MY WAY.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO ADVISED THERE WAS AN ELECTRICAL FAILURE WITH THE ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLY AND CAUSED THE STABILITY SENSOR LIGHT TO ILLUMINATE. THE SENSOR WAS RESET AT THE OWNERS EXPENSE YET, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 72,221.
PUT THE KEY IN IGNITION AND KEY WONT TURN. LIKE THE IGNITION IS STUCK. GOT TO FIDDLE WITH IGNITION FOR @ 15 MINUTES AND FINALLY ITS "POPS LOOSE" AND LETS ME START IT. *TR
