I RECENTLY GOT A SAFETY RECALL FOR THE FRONT RIGHT AIR BAG AND WHEN I TRIED TO TAKE MY VEHICLE INTO GET IT FIXED THEY SAID THE PARTS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR MONTHS I DO NOT WANT TO RISK METAL SHRAPNEL BEING EXPLODED IF MY VEHICLE IS IN ANY SORT OF COLLISION WHERE THE AIRBAG WOULD DEPLOY. I RECEIVED MY RECALL NOTICE IN JULY OF 2016 AND THERE ARE STILL NO PARTS AVAILABLE. I AM VERY CONCERNED ABOUT THIS AIRBAG SEVERELY INJURING SOMEONE IN MY VEHICLE. IS THERE ANYTHING THAT THE NTSB CAN DO TO SPEED UP THIS PROCESS.
TAKATA RECALL - I AM FILING THIS COMPLAINT DUE TO THE TIME IT'S TAKING TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE. I RECEIVED MY FIRST NOTICE IN JULY, 2016 AND NOTHING HAS BEEN RESOLVED. I AM UNABLE TO HAVE PASSENGERS IN MY FRONT SEAT. IF THE AIRBAG WERE TO INFLATE THE SHRAPNEL COULD INJURY PASSENGERS IN THE BACKSEAT OF MY CAR. I AM UNABLE TO USE MY CAR IN THE CAPACITY THAT I BOUGHT IT FOR.
TAKATA RECALL - IT HAS BEEN ALMOST A YEAR AND THERE IS STILL NO REMEDY TO REPLACE AIR BAGS THAT INJURE AND KILL INNOCENT DRIVERS. IT'S TIME TO FORCE THIS COMPANY TO FIX THIS DEADLY PROBLEM.
TAKATA RECALL - I RECEIVED A NOTICE THAT OUR PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG IS BEING RECALLED. I CALLED THE LISTED DEALER IN LONG BEACH, CA (WORTHINGTON FORD) TO GET THEM REPLACED AND HE INFORMED ME THAT THESE AIRBAGS ARE NOT AVAILABLE TO REPLACE YET (IT SAYS IT HAS BEEN RECALLED SINCE 2016). I AM VERY CONCERNED AS THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE OUR SAFE FAMILY VEHICLE (I HAVE A 4 YEAR OLD) AND I DO NOT FEEL SAFE KNOWING THAT WE HAVE A DEFECTIVE AIRBAG. PLEASE ADVISE WHAT WE SHOULD DO.

TAKATE RECALL I HAVE GONE TO THE WEBSITE TO FIND OUT ABOUT THE AIRBAG RECALL. THIS VEHICLE IS UNDER RECALL. I CALLED THE DEALER LISTED AS A PLACE THAT IS AUTHORIZED TO REPLACE THE AIRBAG, HOWEVER, THEY SAID THEY HAVE NO PARTS TO REPLACE AND HAVE NO IDEA WHEN THEY WILL GET ANY. I NEED TO GET THIS REPLACED SO IT IS A SAFE VEHICLE! PLEASE HELP. THANK YOU.

"TAKATA RECALL" - HAVE BEEN CALLING FORD DEALER FOR OVER A YEAR TO GET THE AIRBAG RECALL SCHEDULED. THEY CLAIM THEY DON'T HAVE PART AND NOW DON'T RETURN MY CALL NO ACCIDENT HAS OCCURRED YET. VERY FRUSTRATED NO ONE WILL HELP ME OR RETURN CALL BECAUSE THEY CANT GET THE PARTS NEEDED - MEANWHILE I TAKE A RISK EVERY TIME DRIVING MY CAR
TAKATA RECALL: THE FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG WAS RECALLED ON JUNE 1, 2016. CURRENT OFFICIAL RECALL STATUS IS "RECALL INCOMPLETE. REMEDY NOT YET AVAILABLE". THE LOCAL FORD DEALERSHIP HAD SENT ME A LETTER STATING THE PARTS WERE UNAVAILABLE TO REPLACE THE AIRBAG AND THEY WOULD NOTIFY ME WHEN THEY BECAME AVAILABLE. TODAY IS MARCH 27, 2017 AND THE PARTS ARE STILL UNAVAILABLE. ITS BEEN 10 MONTHS, AND IT IS STILL DANGEROUS TO DRIVE MY VEHICLE, ESPECIALLY FOR MY PASSENGERS. TO MY KNOWLEDGE I CANNOT SELL THE VEHICLE EITHER, UNTIL THE PROBLEM IS FIXED. THIS IS VERY PROBLEMATIC AND DANGEROUS. I WOULD APPRECIATE ANY EFFORTS TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE, AND SOLVE WHATEVER PROBLEM IS CAUSING THE DELAY.
