TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 1992 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT INSTALLED A NEW CONTINENTAL CONTITECH SERPENTINE BELT IN THE VEHICLE FROM AUTO ZONE. THE BELT FAILED AND TORE INTO PIECES AFTER 65 MILES OF DRIVING, AND THE VEHICLE OVERHEATED. AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC CHECKED TO CONFIRM THAT THE PART WAS INSTALLED CORRECTLY BY THE CONTACT. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE HOME SAFELY. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE, VIN, PART NUMBER, AND SERIAL NUMBER WERE UNKNOWN.

OIL PAN IS RUSTING, AND THERE IS OIL LEAKING FROM VEHICLE. CONTACTED DEALER, AND DEALER IS NOT WILLING TO DO ANYTHING.*AK
CONSUMER STATED OIL WAS LEAKING FROM OIL PAN. OIL PAN WAS RUSTING FROM INSIDE OUT. DEALER CONTACTED.*JB
OIL PAN RUST THROUGH . THIS HAS HAPPENED TO MY TRUCK AND TO 3 PEOPLE I KNOW. FORD HAS A PROBLEM. THE PANS SHOULD NEVER RUST THROUGH. I SUSPECT THEY USED TOO THIN A GAUGE OF STEEL IN THEIR DRAW DIE TO SAVE A FEW BUCKS. THIS COST A LOT OF MONEY TO REPAIR, AND FORD SHOULD REIMBURSE ME AND EVERYONE ELSE WITH RUST THROUGH IN THE OIL PANS. *AK
ENGINE OIL PAN HAS RUSTED AND LEAKED. DEALER SAID THAT THEY HAVE REPLACED A LOT OF ENGINE OIL PANS. *AK *ML
BAD CHECK VALVE CAUSED THE FUEL PUMP TO FAIL RESUTING IN FUEL TO OVER FLOW FROM THE TANK (93V-125). YH
WHIILE DRIVING CONSUMER NOTICED A TICKING UNDER THE HOOD. WHEN PULLED TO INSPECT THE SOUND CONSUMER NOTICED A HOLE IN THE OIL PAN. *AK
ENGINE OIL PAN GASKET IS PUSHED TOO TIGHTLY ,THEREFORE PUSHING THE OIL OUT OF THE PAN. *AK
CONSUMER HAS NOTICED A HOLE IN THE OIL PAN WHEN HE FOLLOWED THE TRAIL OF OIL. *AK
OIL PAN LEAKED DUE TO RUST.
OIL PAN RUSTED/LEAKED. (QCAW)
VEHICLE FIRE.
GASKET MATERIAL BETWEEN THE METAL SUPPORTS AND THE GAS TANKS WAS DISSOLVING AND SEEPING OUT.
VEHICLE CONTINUOUSLY LOCKS UP AND STALLS.
SHORTLY AFTER PURCHASE VEHICLE BEGAN TO EXPERIENCE ENGINE STALLING, UNABLE TO RECTIFY.
ENGINE STALLED THEN CAUGHT FIRE.
CHECK VALVE MALFUNCTIONED. *AK
ENGINE OIL PAN RUSTED/CORRODED, OIL LEAKS THROUGH OIL PAN ONTO GROUND. IF DRIVING SPRAYS ONTO TRUCK, FIRE POTENTIAL; ACCORDING TO DEALER, OIL PAN NEEDS REPLACING. *AK
DRIVER HEARD WHAT APPEARED AN EXHUAST LEAK, BOTH MANIFOLDS CRACKED IN THE SAME IDENTICAL PLACE DURING NORMAL OPERATING CONDITIONS DUE TO DETERIORATION. *AK
SERPENTINE BELT FAILED SEVEN TIMES. *AK
OIL PAN PREMATURELY RUSTED OUT, CAUSING MOTOR OIL TO LEAK. *SD
AFTER THE FUEL TANK RECALL WAS APPLIED THE TRUCK CAUGHT ON FIRE WHILE IT WAS BEING DRIVEN. THE FIRE STARTED IN THE ENGINE. PLEASE DESCRIBE. TT
