FORD MOTOR COMPANY SENT ME SEVERAL RECALL NOTICES. WHEN I RESPONDED TO HAVE THE RECALL DONE BY THEIR MOBILE UNIT, THEY COMPLIED . I HAD NO ISSUES WITH MY AIRBAG LIGHT IN THE DASH PRIOR TO THE RECALL BEING PERFORMED. AFTER THE AIR BAG RECALL WAS PERFORMED, THE AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON AND STATED ON. I CALLED FORD MOTOR COMPANY AND NOTIFIED THEM OF THE ISSUE. I WAS TOLD I HAD TO BRING VEHICLE IN TO BE DIAGNOSED FOR A FEE OF 129.00 DOLLARS. AGAIN I HAD NO ISSUES WITH MY AIR BAG LIGHT PRIOR TO THE RECALL BEING PERFORMED.
AFTER THE RECALL OF THE AIR BAG. I NEVER HAD THE AIR BAG LIGHT ON THE DASH ON. AFTER THE DEALER FIX MY AIR BAG IT WOULD TURN AND OFF MOST OF THE TIME BUT AFTER TAKING THE CAR BACK TO GET IT CHECK THE LIGHT WAS NOT ON THE DASH BUT AFTER A FEW MONTH THE LIGHT IS ON NOW AND IT WON'T TURN OFF THE DEALER SHIP WANT TO CHARGE ME TO FIX THE PROBLEM NOW IT'S ON ALL THE TIME EVEN IF I'M STOP OR MOVING ON THE FREEWAY. *TR
I SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT TO GET MY AIRBAG RECALL FIXED ON MY FORD FUSION I TOOK MY CAR TO THE APPOINTMENT WAS IN THERE FOR ABOUT 45 MINUTES TO AN HOUR THEY CAME BACK TO ME TOLD ME THEY CANNOT COMPLETE MY RECALL I HAD ASKED WHY THEY SAID BECAUSE THERE IS AIRBAG BOLTS MISSING AND WE CANNOT COMPLETE THE RECALL UNTIL WE HAVE THOSE BOLTS SO I WAS WANTING TO KNOW THAT IS IT POSSIBLE TO REGISTER A CAR IN PENNSYLVANIANIA WITH A FAULTY AIRBAG SYSTEM IN IT BECAUSE THE PARTS ARE MISSING WHICH WOULD HAVE RESULTED IN A NONREPAIRED SYSTEM THE VEHICLE DOES HAVE AN R TITLE
THE DASHBOARD IN MY VEHICLE IS DEFECTIVE AND NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. IT IS WARPED AND IMPACTS THE FUNCTION OF THE AIRBAG. THE WARPED DASHBOARD BULGES IN FRONT OF THE AIRBAG COMPARTMENT AND PREVENTS THE AIRBAG FROM SITTING FLUSH IN THE COMPARTMENT. IT IS OBVIOUS THAT IF THE AIRBAG DEPLOYS, IT WILL NOT DEPLOY PROPERLY. WE HAVE DISCUSSED THIS WITH THE FORD DEALER AND HAVE BEEN TOLD IT IS NOT FORDS RESPONSIBILITY TO REPLACE THE DASH. WE RECENTLY HAD THE AIRBAG REPLACED DUE TO A RECALL AND THE PROBLEM WORSENED BUT THE FORD DEALER AGAIN REFUSED TO REPLACE THE DASHBOARD. WE'VE INCLUDED THREE PICTURES TO DEMONSTRATE THE EXTENT OF THE PROBLEM. SINCE THE DASHBOARD IS DEFECT AND AFFECTS THAT SAFETY OF THE VEHICLE, THE MANUFACTURER SHOULD REPLACE THE DASHBOARD AT NO COST TO US.

CURRENTLY, A YEAR LATER, THE PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG COULD BE SEEN BECAUSE THE COVER DETACHED AROUND THE EDGE OF THE DASHBOARD. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER, BUT THEY WOULD NOT REPAIR THE VEHICLE PER THE UNKNOWN AIR BAG RECALL. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 160,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.

IN JUNE OF 2018 (TWO YEARS LATER) I RECEIVED ANOTHER LETTER TELLING ME TO GO TO MY DEALER FOR THEM TO ORDER PARTS. I WENT TO MY LOCAL DEALER IN GOSHEN, INDIANA AND THEY TOOK THE INFORMATION AND SAID THEY WOULD CALL WHEN THE REPAIRS COULD BE MADE. IT IS JANUARY 2019 AND I HAVE NOT HEARD ONE WORD. THEY SAY THE PARTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE "YET". THIS IS RIDICULOUS. DON'T OFFER A RECALL IF YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO FIX THE VEHICLES.

TAKATA RECALL, I HAVE RECEIVED SEVERAL NOTICES ABOUT THE TAKATA RECALL BUT HAVE YET TO RECEIVE NOTICE THAT MY AIRBAG CAN BE REPLACED. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR OVER A YEAR WHERE I HAVE BEEN DRIVING A CAR THAT IS POTENTIALLY UNSAFE IF I GET IN AN ACCIDENT.
TAKATA RECALL. MY PASSENGER SIDE HAS A LUMP FORMING UNDER THE AIR BAG. I ALSO GOT A LETTER SAYING THAT MY CAR WAS INCLUDED IN THE RECALL.
TAKATA RECALL THERE ARE NO REPLACEMENT PARTS AVAILABLE. I'M STILL MAKING PAYMENTS ON THE CAR AND A BABY RIDES IN IT.
