I'VE TRIED NUMEROUS TIME TO MAKE APPOINTMENT TO GET THE FIXED NO CALL BACK AND PUT ON HOLD EVERY TIME I NOTIFIED MY LOVE ONES AND LAWYER TO TAKE IMMEDIATE ACTION IF SOMETHING HAPPENS TO ME OR ANYONE IN MY VEHICLE FOR YEARS THIS HAS GONE ON IT'S SAD TO GO THROUGH THIS WITH NOTHING DONE. A CIVIL SUITE IS MY NEXT OPTION
TAKATA RECALL AIR BAGS NEED TO BE REPLACED. I RECEIVED A LETTER SAYING I NEED MY AIR BAGS REPLACED.
TAKATA RECALL. HAD APPOINTMENT IN APRIL TO REPLACE. DEALER CANCELLED AND SAID WOULD ADVISE. CALLED IN MAY AND SAID NO PARTS AND WOULD CALL WHEN AVAILABLE. CAR IN SOUTH WEST FLORIDA UNCOVERED DRIVEWAY. WORRIED DUE TO HIGH HUMIDITY
TAKATA RECALL. HAVE CALLED FOR 6 MONTHS TO CLASSIC FORD LINCOLN OF COLUMBIA AND BEEN UNABLE TO GET THE PART SERVICED. CALLED WITH THE FORD CUSTOMER CARE TEAM ON THE LINE AND THEY HUNG UP AND WOULD NOT PICK UP WHEN THE AGENT REDIALED THIS MORNING. SHE INSTEAD CALLED DICK SMITH FORD OF COLUMBIA WHO IS ALSO UNABLE TO SCHEDULE AND SAYS IT'S FIRST COME FIRST SERVER AT THE TOP OF EVERY MONTH. THE FACT YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO DRIVE THE CAR, BUT ARE UNABLE TO ACTUALLY GET THE ISSUE ADDRESSED IS RIDICULOUS.
TAKATA RECALL - AT THE TIME I BOUGHT A BRAND NEW CAR. THEN AT 40,000 MILES THE AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON WHEN I WAS DRIVING. I HAD IT CHECKED AND THEY SAID THERE WAS DEFECTIVE AIRBAGS THAT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THEN LATER THEY HAD 2 SAFETY AIRBAGS RECALLS. AFTER I HAD THEM REPLACED THE FORD DEALERSHIP INFORMED ME NONE OF MY AIR BAGS WOULD NOT WORK AS THERE WAS A DEFECTED DRIVERS SIDE SEAT AIR BAG THAT WAS DEFECTIVE THAT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AND I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR THAT AS IT WASN'T ON THE RECALL LIST AND IT WOULD COST ANYWHERE FROM$1,500.00 TO $3,000.00 IT COULD COST MORE OR LESS THEY WOULDN'T KNOW TILL THEY GOT TO THE AIR BAG. I REFUSED TO PAY TO HAVE IT FIXED AS IT'S NOT MY FAULT. IT IS FORD WHO BUILT THE CAR. THEY SHOULD HAVE TO FIX IT!!!! THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE AND MY LIFE IS AT RISK!!!!

TAKATA RECALL - I HAVE TRIED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS TO HAVE THE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG RECALL PERFORMED AT AUTONATION FORD, SANFORD, FL. THEY KEEP TELLING ME THAT THEY HAVE TO ORDER THE PART. I KEEP CHECKING BACK AND THEY KEEP TELLING ME THAT THEY STILL HAVE TO ORDER THE PART. MOST TIMES NO ONE ANSWERS THE SERVICE LINE AT AUTONATION FORD. NOW I'M RECEIVING SEVERAL AIRBAG RECALL NOTICES FROM FORD EACH WEEK. I TRIED THEIR 1-866-(XXXX) HELP LINE BUT CAN NEVER GET THROUGH. I TRIED THE CHAT ON THEIR WWW.FORDOWNER.COM WEBSITE BUT CANNOT GET THROUGH. THIS HAS BEEN AN EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING SITUATION, ESPECIALLY SINCE I'M TOLD I SHOULD NOT HAVE SOMEONE SIT IN THE PASSENGER SEAT UNTIL THE RECALL IS PERFORMED. I WANT TO KNOW HOW SOON I CAN GET THIS RECALL PERFORMED ON MY VEHICLE AND STOP BEING HOUNDED BY ALL OF THESE MAILINGS. THERE IS NO WAY TO SEND FORD AN E-MAIL COMPLAINT ABOUT THIS ISSUE. VERY FRUSTRATING! NOW I UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE DON'T BOTHER TO GET A SAFETY RECALL PERFORMED ON THEIR VEHICLES! I RECEIVED A NOTIFICATION ABOUT A RECALL REGARDING MY DRIVER'S SIDE AIRBAG. SHORTLY AFTER, I RECEIVED ANOTHER ONE STATING THAT MY PASSENGER'S SIDE AIRBAG NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AS WELL. THE NOTIFICATION STATED THAT IF THE AIRBAG DEPLOYS, IT CAN RESULT IN THE DEATH OF THE PASSENGER. IT'S BEEN OVER A YEAR SINCE I'VE BEEN NOTIFIED AND THEY HAVE YET TO INFORM ME THAT THEY CAN MAKE THE REPAIR.
TAKATA RECALL RECALL WENT OUT FOR TAKATA PASSENGER AIRBAG INFLATOR ON JUNE 1, 2016. I HAVE SINCE HAD THE DRIVER'S SIDE REPLACED BUT THE PASSENGER AIRBAG HAS NEVER BEEN AVAILABLE. FORD HAS NOT HAD THE PASSENGER AIRBAG REPLACEMENT AVAILABLE SINCE THE RECALL. IT IS A DANGER TO TRANSPORT ANY PASSENGERS KNOWING THAT THEIR AIRBAG IS RECALLED AND CAN CAUSE LIFE-THREATENING INJURY. THE PASSENGER AIRBAG IS CURRENTLY DISABLED.

THE PARTS NEEDED FOR THE REPAIRS WERE NOT AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIRS. THE CONTACT CALLED DUNPHY FORD AT 215-624-6700 (LOCATED AT 7700 FRANKFORD AVE, PHILADELPHIA, PA 19135) AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT A SECOND NOTIFICATION WOULD BE SENT WHEN THE PARTS BECOME AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED INFO ON WHEN AND WHERE TO GET MY AIRBAG REPLACED. THIS IS A SAFETY CONCERN AND IT HAS BEEN OVER A YEAR.
TAKATA RECALL. FORD REFUSES TO FIX THE RECALLED DRIVERS SIDE AIRBAG UNTIL WE FIX THE MALFUNCTIONING AIRBAG CLOCK SPRING AT A COST OF $400.
TAKATA RECALL. I HAVE RECEIVED NOTICES REGARDING THIS RECALL (DATED 6/1/16) THAT APPLIES TO MY VEHICLE OVER THE PAST COUPLE YEARS. WHEN I HAVE CONTACTED MY FORD DEALER, THEY HAVE SAID THAT THEY DO NOT HAVE THE PARTS TO COMPLETE THIS RECALL. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY ANYONE SHOULD WAIT YEARS TO HAVE THE AIRBAG REPLACED ON A VEHICLE WHEN THE AIRBAG CURRENTLY IN THE VEHICLE IS DANGEROUS.
TAKATA RECALL. I WAS NOTIFIED BY LETTER FROM FORD ON JULY 2015 REGARDING SAFETY RECALL NOTICE 15S21/ NHTSA RECALL 15V-319. IT HAS BEEN 2.5 YEARS AND THIS ISSUE HAS NOT BEEN RESOLVED. I CONTINUE TO ASK EACH TIME I BRING MY CAR FOR AN OIL CHANGE AT FORD AND THEY SAY THEY DO NOT HAVE THE PARTS.

STERLING MCCALL FORD ONLY REPLACED MY DRIVER'S SIDE AIRBAG ON MARCH 28, 2018. THEY WERE TO CONTACT ME REGARDING MY PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG BUT HAVEN'T DONE SO. THE AIRBAG RECALL GROUP CONTACTED ME TO SET AN APPOINTMENT, WHICH I DID FOR AUGUST 17, 2018 BUT THEN SEEMINGLY KNEW NOTHING ABOUT IT WHEN I CALLED TO CONFIRM. THEY WANTED ME TO DRIVE 50 MILES TO ANOTHER DEALER FOR A CHANCE TO REPLACE IT.
IT HAS BEEN TWO YEARS TRYING TO GET MY PASSENGER AIR BAG REPLACED THROUGH "FORD OF BELLEVUE" IN WASHINGTON. THEIR SAME ANSWER HAS NOT CHANGED THROUGH MULTIPLE PHONE CALLS OVER THAT TIME, SAYING THEY DO NOT HAVE THE PARTS AND THAT IT IS A REGIONAL SHORTAGE. THIS IS RIDICULOUS. CONSUMERREPORTS REPORTED IN NOVEMBER 2017 THAT "NHTSA SAYS EARLIER AIRBAG SHORTAGES HAVE LARGELY BEEN RESOLVED.". THAT WAS 6 MONTHS AGO AND I AM STILL WAITING. I AM AFRAID TO TAKE ANY PASSENGERS.
