I GOT INTO A WRECK WITH A VEHICLE THAT PAST A STOP SIGN HITTING ME AT 120MPH. THE AIRBAG IN THE DRIVERS SEAT EXPLODED IMMEDIATELY. NONE OF THE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. THE AIR BAG AND TIRE PRESSURE WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT LATER SOUGHT MEDICAL CARE AND WAS DIAGNOSED WITH WHIPLASH AND MULTIPLE CERVICAL LUMBAR INJURIES. IT WAS UNKNOWN A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE CALLER CONTACTED FORD AND WAS PROVIDED WITH CASE NUMBER 22339965 ALONG WITH BEING ADVISED TO CONTACT NHTSA. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 115,000. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN.

TAKATA RECALL, MY AIRBAG IS LIT ON MY DASH BOARD AND THEN INREIVED A LETTER SAYING THEIR HAS BEEN A RECALL ON THE DRIVERS AND PASSANGER SIDE AIRBAG.
I HAVE RECEIVED NUMEROUS NOTICES ABOUT THIS RECALL,HOWEVER I CAN NOT GET A FORD DEALER TO REPLACE THE PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG, THERE ALWAYS BACKED UP OR THE DO NOT HAVE THE PARTS, THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR OVER A YEAR, I WAS TOLD NOT TO DRIVE THE CAR BY FORD MOTOR CO. UNTIL IT WAS REPAIRED, YET THERE IS ALWAYS AN EXCUSE WHY THEY CANT GET TO IT. THIS CAR HAS SAT IN MY GARAGE LONG ENOUGH, I WANT IT FIXED
TAKATA RECALL I HAVE RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE WHICH INSTRUCTED US TO NOT USE THE PASSENGER SEAT. I HAVE BEEN GETTING THE RECALL NOTICE FOR ABOUT A YEAR NOW AND THE ISSUE IS STILL NOT FIXED. UNTIL THE MOST RECENT NOTICE INSTRUCTING NOT TO USE THE PASSENGER SEAT, FORD HAS NEVER COMMUNICATED THE SEVERITY OF THE ISSUE AND PUT US IN DANGER. WITH OVER A YEAR OF THE RECALL, FORD REFUSES TO PROVIDE A LOANER VEHICLE. SINCE THIS IS A COUPE, IT HAS ESSENTIALLY BECOME A ONE SEAT CAR NOW. PREVIOUSLY, WITH THE DRIVER SEAT AIR BAG, FORD ONLY ISSUED THE RECALL NOTICE WHEN THE PARTS TO FIX THE ISSUE WERE AVAILABLE, WHICH I THINK WAS TO AVOID PROVIDING LOANER VEHICLES.

TAKATA RECALL. MY LOCAL AUTHORIZED FORD DEALER HAS BEEN UNABLE TO REPLACE MY PASSENGER-SIDE AIRBAG BECAUSE REPLACEMENT PARTS ARE UNAVAILABLE. MY DRIVER-SIDE AIRBAG HAS BEEN REPLACED. THE DEALER IS UNABLE TO TELL ME WHEN PARTS WILL AVAILABLE OR EVEN PROVIDE AN ESTIMATED TIME WHEN PARTS WILL BE AVAILABLE. I HAVE MADE SEVERAL ATTEMPTS SINCE I RECEIVED THE ORIGINAL RECALL NOTICES IN 2015 (DRIVER-SIDE) AND 2016 (PASSENGER-SIDE). MY LAST CONTACT WITH DEALER WAS JAN 16, 2018. MY REPAIRS ARE NOT BEING ACCOMPLISHED IN A TIMELY MANNER.
