Chronological view of owner reports
The front windshield on my vehicle has cracked twice under normal driving conditions, without any significant impact or debris striking it. The cracks originated near the middle top and then another time lower edge of the glass and expanded rapidly across the surface. This seems to indicate a structural or design flaw, especially since I have seen multiple reports from other owners of the same make and model experiencing similar spontaneous windshield cracking. No, the cracked windshield is not available for inspection upon request. But I did have it sent to the dealership for review. The cracks compromised my visibility, particularly in sunlight and during night driving, which directly put my safety—and the safety of others—at risk. The second incident occurred on a highway, which was especially dangerous due to high-speed travel and glare from sunlight refracting through the cracks. This problem has not yet been formally reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or service center, but I have found numerous owner complaints online and in forums documenting the same issue. I believe this supports the theory that it's a broader defect rather than isolated cases. The vehicle has not been inspected by the manufacturer, police, or insurance agents regarding this specific issue. I am open to having the damaged windshield reviewed by any party they recommend. There were no warning lights, error messages, or visible signs of damage before the cracks appeared. Both times, the windshield cracked suddenly while the car was parked or driving at moderate speeds, and the temperature conditions were not extreme.
I received a recall from Ford, about the rear camera screen software update. But ford said repair is unavailable until three quarter of 2025, which means it may repair from July to September. Now is only 13th of May. It said it cause the risk of crash. I bought a brand new car and I cannot drive it for nearly 5 months? To save my life , I cannot drive it as I need to protect myself. It’s ridiculous. No any compensation for these recall. No exact repair date. Only wait! And I still responsible for the loan payment and the devalued of the vehicle? I called the dealership and they said they have nothing to do with this. What can I do ? It’s really making troubles to my life and everyday is getting lost of money. But this is not my fault!
My 2024 Ford Mustang is affected by Recall 25C43 / NHTSA Campaign No. 25V546 concerning water intrusion into the Body Control Module (BCM) that may cause exterior lighting failure. Yesterday, on September 05, 2025, I contacted Autonation Ford Miami and requested the required interim inspection and BCM check. The dealer provided me with a written refusal, stating they “will not be able to perform inspection on Recall 25C43 due to instructions for mechanic not available.” This is unacceptable because under 49 U.S.C. § 30120(c)(1), a manufacturer must remedy a defect “without charge when the vehicle is presented for remedy.” Ford’s dealer communication of Aug 25, 2025 instructed dealers to inspect body seams and the BCM for water or corrosion, and replace the BCM if needed. By refusing inspection, the dealer has left me driving a car at risk of safety-critical lighting failure. I am requesting that NHTSA enforce compliance so Ford dealers provide at least the required inspection and interim remedy immediately, rather than forcing customers to wait until 2026.
–In the Owner’s Manual, there are numerous items of information not related to this car. By that, I don't mean a different variation (SL vs Rt). I mean it tells you to push buttons that do not exist. For example, in "visual mode", reviewing the steering wheel. –The Owner’s Manual says to accept a call, press the phone button on the steering wheel – no such button exists. The Owner’s Manual says to hang up a call, press the phone button. Again no such button. You can not say end call during a call– so no voice modes work in call mode. THIS FORCES YOU TO INTERACT WITH CAR BY REMOVING A HAND FROM STEERING WHEEL–THUS VIOLATING Florida Statute 316.305 -- Another example- Using visual, it points to a button on the wrong side of the wheel. If you click on the “G” represented on the bottom right of the steering wheel it shows “mode” buttons. Mode on the actual wheel is on the left hand side. This is just one example of several items in the manual that don’t match the actual car. Plus you have to “know” the correct terminology to search. In a paper manual you can normally get close and thumb through a few pages to find the right things– without that capability if you don’t know the exact wording you are lost. ---There are also numerous customizable setting that do not hold after “saving”. While these may not be safety issues themselves—the amount of interaction this vehicle requires to figure out “what now?”, Is a distraction and may cause accidents. Pics are of the owners manual installed on the car (we no longer get printed versions). 2 screens telling you to end call with buttons on steering wheel. @ pics of all buttons on the wheel. 1 pic of wheel layout according to installed manual (which doesn't match the actual wheel) ---According to Dealer the vehicle's software is up to date with current version.
While driving or idling there is a whining sound coming from what sounds like the transmission. I also have a video of me shift from Park to Drive and back to Park again and it is making a clicking sound outside of the car. Also it is taking longer to shift. I’m concerned something is wrong with the transmission. I have brought the car to a dealership who tells me it is normal without really looking at it all because Ford has sent out a bulletin stating that the whining noise is “normal.”
