I AM WRITING BECAUSE IT TOOK MY DEALER OVER 60 DAYS TO GIVE ME AN APPOINTMENT FOR REPAIR. 7/2016 RECV'D RECALL NOTICE FROM HONDA. STATED "HONDA WILL SEND YOU ANOTHER LETTER WHEN PARTS BECOME AVAILABLE TO REPAIR YOUR VEHICLE." (THEY NEVER DID). 10/21/2016 CALLED DEALERSHIP AND WAS TOLD THAT I WAS THE ONE THAT NEEDED TO ORDER THE PART, SO I ORDERED IT. WAS TOLD THE PART WOULD BE IN IN LATE NOV. AND I'D BE CALLED. HEARD NOTHING FROM THEM. CALLED 12/12/2016 AND WAS TOLD PARTS WOULD BE IN THAT WEEK. THEY WOULD CALL ME BACK (CONFIRMED THEY HAD CORRECT PHONE #) AND MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. THEY NEVER CALLED BACK. "TAKATA RECALL"---> I RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE ABOUT MY AIR BAGS ABOUT 1 MONTH AGO. MY HUSBAND HAS CALLED GWINNETT PLACE HONDA TO FIND OUT ABOUT PARTS, WHERE TO TAKE THE CAR, AND HOW TO GO ABOUT GETTING A RENTAL. THEY REPLIED THAT WE NEEDED TO CALL HONDA AUTOMOBILE CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR AN AUTHORIZATION TO GET A RENTAL. IT HAS BEEN 2 WEEKS AND NO ONE HAS CALLED BACK. DURING ALL OF THIS I HAVE TO DRIVE THIS CAR TO AND FROM WORK WITH MY KIDS. I ALSO TAKE SEVERAL CHILDREN TO SCHOOL ALONG WITH MINE SO I HAVE SOMEONE IN THE PASSENGER FRONT SEAT. I EXPLAINED THIS TO THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE AND ALL HE COULD TELL SAY THAT HE COULD ONLY PUT IN A REQUEST FOR A RENTAL. HE COULD NOT TELL ME AN ESTIMATED TIME TO HEAR BACK FROM ANYONE OR ANYTHING ELSE I COULD DO IN THE MEAN TIME. HONESTLY I AM NOT MADE OF MONEY AND THIS IS A COMPLETE INCONVENIENCE. THE FACT THAT THEY DO NOT SEEM TO BE THE LEAST BIT CONCERNED IS VERY CONCERNING TO ME. I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHAT I SHOULD DO..
