Radio/Infotainment system displays: Please insert USB drive containing valid software license file and press OK. I do not have a software license. The dealer asked me on 12/19/25 to contact American Honda. I got a case # that day of #XXX and was assigned a case manager who then went on vacation from 12/25 to 1/5. I understand that. Since then, Case Manager and American Honda is not responding to my calls or Jeff Wyler Honda Dealership in Cincinnati Ohio. The dealer said they need the USB with the license info. In May 2022, the air conditioning condenser on my 2019 Honda Accord Hybrid was replaced due to AC failure. In April 2023, shortly after purchasing the vehicle following a lease buyout, I returned with the same AC issue and was told the condenser may have been defective and it was replaced again. I then took the vehicle to another authorized Honda dealership, where I was told the condenser may not have been replaced previously, and it was replaced again. Dye was added to the AC system at South Motors Honda to identify a leak. Despite this, Largo Honda later charged me again to add dye, stating they could not access the prior dealership’s diagnostic records, even though both are Honda-authorized dealerships. After continued AC failure, two authorized Honda dealerships have now diagnosed the issue as a leaking air conditioning evaporator and documented the failure with video evidence. Loss of air conditioning impacts driver safety by impairing windshield defogging and creating unsafe cabin temperatures, particularly in hot weather. This represents a premature failure of a non-wear component. This issue has persisted since 2022. The manufacturer declined repair assistance despite repeated repairs and dealer-confirmed diagnostics.

Head gasket blown at very low mileage. Roughly a little more than 80,000 miles on them and head gasket was blown. Car went to Limp mode and caused a safety concern while trying to get to a safe location. The problem has been confirmed by a mechanic and all the lights on the dash lit up at once

I was driving down the interstate and all of a sudden all the lights in the dash board came on. My Vehicle began to slow down on the interstate in a lot of traffic.

All the lights on the dash board is on, car won’t accelerate pass 20mph. I have gotten the fuel pump replaced (recall), head gasket replaced, ignition coals and spark plugs replaced(tune up) , oil changed, engine hair filter and cabin air filter. Every other week it’s something wrong with my 2019 Honda accord.

When the car is in reverse the reverse camera displays what looks like high contrast has been applied. It has a rainbow colors and the picture gets very distorted, especially when its night time or when the camera is facing the sun. It's extremely difficult to see pedestrians or oncoming cars.

Vehicle Information: Make: Honda Model: 2019 Accord Sport VIN: [XXX] Mileage: 90000 Date of Initial Recall repair under service bulletin 19-091: 6/02/2023 Issue Description: Type of Complaint: Non-safety related but performance-affecting system failure (A/C system). Description of the Problem: In 2023, the A/C system in my 2019 Honda Accord Sport began to leak refrigerant due to a faulty A/C condenser and O-rings. The vehicle was repaired under Honda service bulletins (S/B 19-091, S/B 21-014–21-018), which replaced the condenser and O-rings. Within two years of this repair, the same issue has occurred again: refrigerant is leaking from the A/C system, leading to a failure of the system to cool properly. Despite the initial repair being done under warranty, I am being quoted for additional repairs, which suggests a systemic issue with the A/C system. There is no recall issued for this problem, but the fact that the issue has recurred so soon after a factory-approved repair raises concerns about the durability and quality of the parts involved. Safety Impact (If applicable): While this A/C failure is not immediately safety-critical, a malfunctioning A/C system could lead to driver and passenger discomfort during extreme weather, potentially distracting the driver and compromising the vehicle’s overall comfort and performance. My car is making loud siren noise when backing up. I took my car to the dealer a few times and they said it's nothing they can do about the noise. They do not know why the noise is happening. I research other Honda cars and people are talking about the same problem. It's not fair my car is making this loud noise. I was willing to pay for it to be fixed but Honda said they understand but it's nothing they can do. I bought my car brand new in 2019. It's only 2024. This problem started at least 1 1/2 to 2 years ago. Honda is still selling cars with this problem occurring in short time. NOT FAIR!!

I am experiencing severe paint peeling on my 2019 Honda Accord sport in areas that are not typically exposed to environmental wear and tear such as inside the trunk, under the hood and inside the door jams. This appears to be a defect in the paint or application process, as these areas should not be vulnerable to such deterioration under normal use . Despite bringing this issue to Honda’s attention they declined to guarantee the quality of a potential paint repair job. As a result, I had no choice but to repaint the car and my own expense to prevent further damage. I am filing this complaint in hopes that others that have experienced similar issues with their Honda vehicles will report them and that Nhtsa will investigate this apparent defect. This could help ensure that Honda takes accountability and provides assistance to affected owners in the future. This defect not only affects the aesthetics but could potentially lead to long-term issues with rust and corrosion in the areas where the paint is peeling . I urge the NHTSA to investigate this issue to protect other consumers and encourage manufacturers to address and resolve such quality concerns.

I CALLLED THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY REMEDY YET FOR THIS RECALL. I RENT MY CAR ON TURO PLATFORM AND THEY DELISTED MY CAR DUE TO THIS RECALL AND I AM LOSING MY BUSINESS CAUSE OF THIS RECALL SINCE HONDA DOESNOT HAVE CAME WITH ANY SOLUTION.

1.the AC is not working no more I told the people at the Honda dealer that it will hiss and my car will vibrate in the seats and this been going on for 2 years and I had Honda care and the people at the dealership told me it’s not nun to worry saying it’s common for Honda now I don’t have AC at all

Faulty rear view backup camera. The camera is transmitting images with bright pink and green blotches which makes it difficult to see what is behind the car. The distortion is apparent to anyone looking at the camera image. I first noticed the issue on 6/29/2024. The car is available for inspection upon request.

I am experiencing a Honda door lock actuator malfunction. There was an awarded class action lawsuit regarding this recall in 2019. The first time I took it to Honda, but they were unable to replicate the intermittent malfunction and could not further assist me. I have shown them recorded videos of the issue, which can’t be used for diagnoses however, photos and videos can be submitted for evidentiary purposes and for health care treatment. At drop off even the staff member who checked my vehicle in had to climb through the drivers seat to unlock the passenger door. I took it again a second time, and they are only able to replace one actuator since it’s not not operable while it’s an issue with all my doors intermittently. I have taken leave from work to ensure repair. I have to pay deductibles each time until all the doors are resolved.

Had rattling noise coming inside the driver door. Took it to local dealership. Said that the adhesive came off the safety support beam of the door. Told me that they can’t do anything about it, and recommended me to go to an auto body shop. Went to three different shops that all had the same answers: We can’t put adhesive on and put it back together since the piece is a safety structure of the car. They refuse to fix it has one of the shops explained, it would make them liable for any injuries involved in an accident for the beam failing to support the safety structure of the door. Another explains that this a safety defect from the manufacturer, and that the whole door must be replaced for safety regulations. So I decided to take the car back to the dealership, explaining it to the dealers. They still refused to do anything about it, saying that they won’t don’t anything about it, and try finding a place that will glue it back together or do it yourself.

Is Honda ever going to correct their air conditioning issues? This is the second vehicle from Honda that I’ve purchased brand new that has a/c issues in under a year. The first time, I just stuck it out and sweated to death in my car until my lease ended, now I can’t do that for the safety of my children while living in the Deep South. It’s incredibly dangerous for drivers to sit in a hot car- even if the windows are down.

All 4 of the vehicle door lock actuators have failed either intermittently or permanently. This results in the doors unlocking and potentially not relocking causing the vehicle to be unsecured. The dealer claims that my vehicle is an isolated incident and that the mileage exceeds the warranty. I maintain that all 4 of the lock actuators failing is not a chance occurrence and that faulty parts were used in the manufacturing process. The failures began happening at approximately 18 months after I purchased the vehicle in new condition.

Hi. Just looking for information on how to go about with my car. A few months ago, i was driving within my city in the residential area, and while i was driving, my car quickly, like for 3 seconds, just lost power, there was no warning lights or anything that came on, it just felt like i accidentally touched the brakes real quick while driving, but i didn't. Fast forward to Friday. I was driving home from work on the Interstate. There was a big rig gas carrier truck next to me, and all of a sudden with my foot still on the gas my car felt like it was loosing power as if i was putting my foot on the brake, it was at least for 30 seconds as if it was about to come to a complete stop in the middle of the highway, im grateful there was no car behind me, because i really probably would have died getting hit from behind and probably hitting the gas tanker.. But when it did slow down my car swerved and I almost hit the big rig gas carrier truck, but i had to swerve back over into my lane, and about time i got back into my lane the power in the car picked back up (like nothing happened) and i was able to drive home but i just drove slow because i was scared. I almost died, it was scary, and now im afraid to drive my car. I shouldn't be having this problem my car is only 3 years old. I just got this car a few years ago brand new and still paying for it, and I'm trying to see how i can go about this, is it fixable? I have not taken it in to a dealer yet, but from looking it up on line there is a lawsuit going on from hondas in my year of this happening, that the Honda dealers don't know whats going on yet either.

USUALLY WHEN THE WEATHER IS COLDER SAY BELOW 50 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT, A LOUD HUM EMITS FROM THE SPEAKER SYSTEM WITH OR WITHOUT MUSIC ON IF I AM GOING LESS THAN 40 MPH. IF I CRACK A WINDOW OR THE SUNROOF/MOONROOF OR A WINDOW, THE SOUND GOES AWAY TOO. I ALSO DON'T NOTICE THE NOISE IN THE SUMMER/WARMER MONTHS HERE IN THE NORTHEAST NOR DO I NOTICE THE HUM WHEN I AM TRAVELING FASTER THAN ABOUT 40 MPH, SUCH AS DOING 50/55 ON A HIGHWAY. SOME FOLKS BELIEVE IT MIGHT BE PART OF ACTIVE NOISE CANCELATION TO DROWN OUT THE SOUND OF THE ENGINE IN THE CABIN.
