THIS IS A 2032 HYUNDAI VENUE WITH 21,000 MILES, ALL THE COMPLIMENTARY INSPECTIONS DONE BY HUYNDAI NORTHWEST IN HOUSTON. WE HAD TO CHANGE THE 4 TIRES DUE TO ABNORAL WEAR AND TEAR. THE NEW TIRES WERE PURCHASED ON NOV 2025. THE LAST SERVICE DONE IN HUYNDAI NORTHWEST WAS ON AUG 2025 WHEN HUYNDAI NORTHWEST SAID THE TIRES WERE OK WHICH IS A LIE. 2 DIFERENT TECHNITIANS FROM DISCOUNT TIRE AND SUN AUTO CONFIRMED THE UNSAFE CONDITION SEPARATELY IN NOV 2025.

The original horn failed after about a year and 15,000 miles. Replaced with dealer and new horn failed after about 6 months and 7,000 miles. Only realized after having to avoid a collision and being unable to use my horn. Having a faulty horn could be a factor in a collision, if a vehicle starts to merge into me without me having a way to avoid the collision other than alerting the other driver. The dealership replaced the first horn which was under warranty. No lights or indicators that this system had failed.

Feb 2023 Injury

I was going to work, dropping my one year old off at his grandparents on the way. My purse (with my spare key) along with the rest of my belongings were dumped into the front passenger seat after I unlocked my car. Unfortunately, I also placed my main set in the seat in order to buckle up the kiddo. I was wearing a dress with no pockets. I shut my front passenger door, opened the rear passenger door and finished up the car seat wrangle. I then shut his door, and every door on the vehicle clicked shut in the auto locking mechanism. My adrenaline and panic were instantaneous. I work in health care and I know how quickly closed cars become death traps for babies. The car was not on, and my intention was to be in the driver seat 5 seconds later with the AC blasting. I live in the country, my closest neighbors were gone, all of my means of outside communication were in the car, my husband was at work and within two minutes my baby started crying. I immediately grabbed a rock from my garden and broke the driver side rear vent window. No harm was done to my baby, he ate a snack and took a nap afterwards. I got the smallest cut ever on my hand, none of it hit him during the smash. Window repair is 475 through safelight, insurance wanted a 1k deductible so I skipped out on a claim. I spoke to Hyundai Cares and after I explained the situation I was asked why I was upset that I had locked my own baby in the car. The problem is that I didn't lock him in the car - the car locked him in the car. My vehicle has seat sensors and reminds me to grab my passenger from the back seat when I park. I get seat belt reminders due to weight sensors in the front passenger seat when I travel with my dog. In my eyes, the car was fully aware the front was empty, two fobs were in the car, and the back was occupied.
