A friend and I was driving out of town we drove approximately 3 hrs before vehicle stalled on us at a stop sign. The car had no power after driving 60-70 miles on highway. We exited access road & once we stopped at stop sign car acted as if it had no power/gas. Although foot was on pedal all the way to the floor. Transmission has been replaced a year ago. Vehicle did not want to go over 50 mph after car stalled. This is so dangerous we turned around & went home we did not feel safe or comfortable driving this vehicle out of town.
Dangerous and terrifying vehicle malfunction. I have done extensive research on the vehicle and I am beyond upset that this has not been resolved for everyone who owns any Nissan vehicle experiencing this problem. While driving either on the highway or local streets after approximately 10-15 minutes of travel time at any speed there is a loud whining noise while accelerating and total power loss. My 2013 Nissan Rogue SV has almost complete power loss while driving just a few minutes at any speeds and especially during or immediately following highway travel. While driving with my 3 year old son in the back, operating at the posted speed, the vehicle suddenly loses power and the ability to maintain or increase speed, the accelerator can be fully pressed and there is little to no response. We have nearly been involved in multiple accidents with semi trucks, other cars/suvs, and objects due to this issue. This has created a massive risk for us while driving daily routes to school and work. I have read hundreds out of thousands of forum threads, YouTube comments, and tweet, etc.. and as a whole every single post has the same issue for many Nissan models but little to none have been fixed or addressed. This issue is extremely hazardous and life threatening, I am terrified to have my child in this vehicle for any reason. I am extremely disappointed in the fact that there has not been a single positive response from Nissan to repair this problem and save the lives of the people and there families who paid extremely high prices to buy these vehicles to only be very tragically affected by these problems after the purposely designed warranty is expired and then cost in the thousands for repairs are being handed to the owners. I am not going to stand by and allow this to go unaddressed until it causes serious harm or injury to my family and I. The thousands of people who have experienced this can agree. There is a manufacturing defect related to the CVT transmission system.
The contact owns a 2013 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated while driving 60-70 MPH, for approximately 30 minutes, the RPM revved up however, the vehicle started decelerating independently and was making abnormal whining sounds. There was no warning light illuminated. The accelerator pedal was depressed but the vehicle failed to respond and continued to decelerate. The contact veered to the side of the road for a moment. The contact continued driving however, the failure reoccurred after driving for 30 minutes. The contact stated that the failure had been reoccurring increasingly. The dealer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that she needed to pay for a diagnostic test and repair. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 100,000.
THERE HAS BEEN A ISSUE WITH THE TRANSMISSION FOR 5 YEARS AT LEAST AND AS OF 2 WEEKS AGO, THE TRANSMISSION COMPLETELY WENT OUT.
VEHICLE WILL NOT GET UP TO SPEED WHEN DRIVEN FOR A 45 MINUTE PERIOD OF TIME AND WON'T ALLOW ME TO PICK.UP TO STATE SPEED I NOTICED THERE'S BEEN COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS ISSUE DUE TO A LOW TEMPERATURE GOVERNOR ON THE VEHICLE AND THAT MAKES IT DANGEROUS FOR THE OTHER PEOPLE TRAVELING DUE TO THAT ISSUE I WAS ON THE INTERSTATE 25 TRAVELING SOUTH
DRIVING ON HIGHWAY US-90 COMING HOME FROM NEW ORLEANS TO GULFPORT. MY CARS CRUISE CONTROL HAD STOPPED WORKING 45 MINTUES TO AN HOUR AFTER I GOT ONTO US-49 MY CHECK LIGHT CAME ON I PRESSED MY ACCELERATE PEDTAL TO THE FLOOR AN THE ONLY THING IT DID WAS RAISE MY RPMS TO ALMOST 6. ME AN MY CHILD IN THE BACK SEAT WERE ALMOST HIT IN THE REAR BY AN 18 WHEELER BECAUSE MY VEHICLE HAD TROUBLE WITH THE TRANSMISSION. WHEN I GOT BACK TO GULFPORT MS I STOP AT A AUTO-ZONE AN THEY PUT IT ON THE DIGITAL DEVICE AN 3-4 CODES CAME UP THE TURQUE CONVERTER WAS BAD IN MY CAR. I KNOW FROM READING ON THE INTERNET BULLETINS THAT NISSAN IS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM AN HASNT DONE ANYTING ABOUT IT.
THE VEHICLE IS NOT SHIFTING CORRECTLY ON HIGHWAY OR CITY, THE RPMS FLUCTUATE WHEN HITTING THE GAS AND AND SPEED DOES NOT MATCH THE RPMS. WHICH GETTING TO 60MPH THE CAR STARTS TO SHAKE AND WILL DOWN SHIFT AND WHICH MAKES THE VEHICLE HARDER TO ACCELERATE AND IN SOME CASES WONT ACCELERATE AT ALL EVEN WITH THE RPMS CONTINUING TO RAISE. I HAVE GOTTEN IT LOOKED AT BY CERTIFIED MECHANICS AND THE SAID THEY CANNOT TELL THE ISSUE ESPECIALLY WITH NO WARNING LIGHTS AND NO FAULTY CODES. WHEN SITTING AT A STAND STILL THE RPMS CONTINUE TO RAISE OVER 2000 EVEN WITH THE VEHICLE IN PARK.
I WAS DRIVING IN THE MORNING, ON A SOMEWHAT BUSY ROAD THAT ACTS AS A SMALL TWO LANE HIGHWAY THAT LEADS TO THE FREEWAY, AND ALL OF A SUDDEN IT FELT LIKE I HAD GOTTEN A FLAT TIRE AND WAS DRIVING ON THE RIM. NO SOUNDS, JUST DRAMATIC LOSS OF POWER. I WAS ABLE TO PULL OVER ON A VERY NARROW SHOULDER. INSPECTED TIRES AND ALL WERE PERFECTLY FINE. I WAITED A FEW, TURNED CAR ON WHICH STARTED JUST FINE. PUT CAR INTO GEAR BUT ABSOLUTELY NO ENGAGEMENT!! NOTHING. WITH FOOT PEDAL TO THE FLOOR, JUST DIDN'T MOVE. RPM'S WERE NORMAL ALONG WITH SPEED ODOMETER. THIS WAS NOT ONLY A SCARY SITUATION TO BE IN KNOWING THAT WHILE IN MOTION THIS VEHICLE LOST ALL ABILITY TO FUNCTION BUT A HUGE SAFETY CONCERN FOR ME AND OTHERS. I TRULY HOPE THIS DOESN'T HAPPEN ANYMORE! SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THIS. NOT OKAY NISSAN NOT OKAY
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 NISSAN ROGUE. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE HIS DAUGHTER WAS DRIVING 65 MPH, THE VEHICLE INDEPENDENTLY DECELERATED TO 35 MPH AND FAILED TO ACCELERATE. THERE WERE NO WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED. THE DRIVER PULLED OVER, RESTARTED THE VEHICLE, AND THE VEHICLE DROVE AS DESIGNED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THRUWAY NISSAN (79 NY-17K, NEWBURGH, NY 12550, (845) 562-1000) TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE CVT TRANSMISSION AND EXTERNAL OIL COOLER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AS PER TSB 16-090. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 130,650.
DURING A 600 MILE ROAD TRIP ON INTERSTATE AND 2 LANE HIGHWAYS, OUR 2013 NISSAN ROUGE BEGAN HAVING ACCELERATION ISSUES AFTER ABOUT 4 HOURS OF DRIVING. CAR WOULD NOT ACCELERATE PAST 60 MPH EVEN WITH GAS PEDAL PUSHED ALL WAY. THIS WOULD HAPPEN SEVERAL MORE TIMES. WE FOUND A MECHANIC IN A SMALL TOWN WHO COULD NOT IDENTIFY ANY SPECIFIC PROBLEM. IN A LARGER TOWN THE NISSAN DEALERSHIP WAS CLOSED SO WE TOOK OUR CAR TO THE LOCAL TIRE AND OIL CHANGE TO CHECK FLUIDS ETC, NO ISSUES WERE FOUND BUT WE WENT AHEAD AND HAD OIL AND FILTERS CHANGED. PROBLEM OCCURRED ONE MORE TIME ON OUR WAY TO OUR DESTINATION. WE DID NOT TRAVEL ON HIGHWAYS FOR A FEW DAYS. ABOUT 5 HOURS ON OUR WAY BACK HOME WE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM AND COULD NOT ACCELERATE ON THE INTERSTATE BEYOND 55 MPH, EVEN WORSE ON HILLS. WE PULLED OVER AND ALLOWED CAR TO REST FOR ABOUT 45 MINUTES. WE MANAGED TO GET HOME. THIS PROBLEM DID OCCUR ONCE OR TWICE OVER THE YEARS DURING DAILY CITY DRIVING BUT NEVER TO THIS EXTENT. OUR NORMAL DAY TO DAY DRIVING DOES NOT REQUIRE HIGHWAY/FREEWAY DRIVING.
I'VE HAD NUMEROUS PROBLEMS WITH THIS CAR. WHILE DRIVING WITH MY FAMILY ON THE HIGHWAY FOR OVER 1.5 HRS. THE CAR WOULD NOT ACCELERATE ABOVE 60 MPH. ANOTHER TIME WHILE HIGHWAY DRIVING ON THE OH TURNPIKE 1 HOUR AWAY FROM HOME I LOST ACCELERATION WHILE GOING UPHILL AND COASTED TO AN AREA TO STOP. WHILE I WAS STOPPED THE CAR SMOKED AND IT WOULD NOT START UNTIL AFTER 30 MINUTES. I WAS ABLE TO MAKE IT TO A MECHANIC WHO INFORMED IT MAY BE MY TRANSMISSION AND HE ADVISED TO NOT GO OVER 60 MPH AND TO TAKE THE BACK ROADS HOME.
I WAS ON THE HIGHWAY WITH NO WARNING THE CAR STARTED TO LOSE POWER. WHEN I HIT THE GAS THE RPM WENT UP BUT NO POWER . FORTUNATELY I WAS ABLE TO PULL OFF THE HIGHWAY AND AVOID GETTING HIT. I TURNED THE CAR OFF AND BACK ON THE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON BUT WHEN PUT IN DRIVE /GEAR THE CAR WOULDN'T MOVE . I HAD TO HAVE IT TOWED TO MY HOME 30 MINUTES AWAY. THE MECHANIC LOOKED AT IT, THE CODE WAS FOR SPEED SENSOR. NOW LOOKING FOR A MECHANIC TO FIX IT . I EASILY COULD HAVE BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT .
WHEN DRIVING MY 2013 NISSAN ROGUE FURTHER THAN 30 MILES GOING SPEEDS OF 60MPH OR GREATER THE RPMS RACE OUT OF CONTROL, THE CAR DANGEROUSLY REDUCES SPEEDS ON FREEWAY EVEN WHILE THE ACCELERATOR IS STILL PRESSED. I HAVE TO TURN OFF CAR ON THE SIDE OF THE FREEWAY FOR 10-15 MINS BEFORE TRYING TO DRIVE AGAIN, ONLY TO HAVE THE SPEEDS REDUCE AND RPMS RACE OUT OF CONTROL AGAIN. IF YOU ARE TRYING TO GO UP HILL FOR A SHORT DISTANCES OR GO UP HILL ON ENTRANCES RAMPS, EXIT RAMPS, OR UP HILL ON BRIDGES THERE IS THE SAME LAG IN TRANSMISSION. THE RPMS RACE OUT OF CONTROL AND ROGUE DANGEROUSLY REDUCES SPEEDS. THERE IS ALSO A LOUD WHINING NOISE WHEN YOU PRESS ACCELERATOR BEYOND 60MPH OR GOING UP HILLS, RAMPS, OR BRIDGES. I'M FRUSTRATED WITH NISSAN THEY KNOW ABOUT THIS ISSUES WITH THIS MODEL 2013 NISSAN ROGUE. THEY'VE EVEN EXTENDED THE TRANSMISSION WARRANTY FOR 2008-2010 WITH THE SAME ISSUE JUST UNDER A DIFFERENT NAME. THEY ALSO ACKNOWLEDGE ITS A PROBLEM FOR MODELS 2008-2013 THROUGH THERE 2015 NISSAN SERVICE BULLETIN. MY FRUSTRATION IS NISSAN WANTS ME TO PAY THOUSANDS FOR A KNOWN PROBLEMATIC SAFETY ISSUE WITH THESE MODELS AND YEARS. BUT REFUSE TO DO SO. IF THEY CAN EXTEND THE CVT TRANSMISSION WARRANTY FOR THE 2008-2010 THEY SHOULD ALSO EXTEND THE CTV WARRANTY FOR THE 2013 MODEL THAT'S HAVING THE SAME ISSUES WITH THE CVT SENSOR AND VALVE. I'VE ONLY HAD MY 2013 ROGUE SINCE 08/2019. THE ROGUE WAS 'FIXED' ONCE BUT ALL WAS DONE IS TRANSMISSION FLUID WAS CHANGED IN 08/2019. NOW IT'S ONE YEAR LATER AND SAME EXACT ISSUES ARE OCCURRING AND THEY ARE REFUSING TO FIX AGAIN AS A CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.
DRIVING ON HIGHWAY, 65-70 MPH, AMBIENT TEMP ABOUT 89 DEGREES, VEHICLE HAS NO ACCELERATION, SLOWS TO ABOUT 45 MPH, HIGH PITCHED WHINING NOISE. MANAGE TO GET OFF OF HIGHWAY, AFTER SLOWING TRAFFIC AND PULL TO SIDE OF HIGHWAY. TURNED CAR OFF, SAT BY SIDE OF HIGHWAY FOR AN HOUR PLUS, STARTED CAR, TURNED AROUND AND MADE IT HOME -- ABOUT 30 MILES -- IN ABOUT AN HOUR AND A HALF, DUE TO RE-OCCURRENCE OF ISSUE. NO LIGHTS CAME ON. NO WARNING, JUST LOSS OF ACCELERATION AND INABILITY TO KEEP UP WITH TRAFFIC.
I WAS TRAVELLING ON THE HIGHWAY UP A LONG INCLINE WHEN THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL STOPPED WORKING AND THE CAR BEGAN TO DECELERATE. I WAS ABLE TO PULL OF THE ROAD. I TURNED THE CAR OFF, THEN RESTARTED IT AND TRIED TO GO AND THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WOULD NOT ENGAGE. THERE WERE NO HAZARD LIGHTS ILLUMINATED AND CAR TEMPERATURE WAS FINE. APPROXIMATELY 15 MINUTES THE CAR STAR WORKING NORMALLY AND I GOT BACK ON THE HIGHWAY. THE CAR DROVE OKAY FOR A WHILE BUT ON THE NEXT BIG HILL THE ACCELERATOR FAILED AGAIN, THIS TIME THE CVT (TRANSMISSION) INDICATOR LIGHT CAME ON. AFTER WAITING ANOTHER 15 MINUTES, THE CAR WAS STILL NOT SAFE TO DRIVE AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS, THE ACCELERATOR WAS SLUGGISH AND UNRELIABLE. I WAS ABLE TO GET HOME BY DRIVING SLOWLY ON BACK ROADS, BUT WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SAFELY DRIVE IT AGAIN UNTIL THIS ISSUE IS RESOLVED.
I WAS DRIVING ON A MAJOR HIGHWAY AND ALL OF A SUDDEN I LOSS POWER, THE CAR NEVER TURNED OFF BUT AS I PRESSED ON THE GAS PEDAL IT WOULDN'T ACCELERATE SO I HAD TO COAST FROM THE LEFT LANE ALL THE WAY TO THE RIGHT LANE TO GET TO THE EMERGENCY LANE. MIND YOU THERE IS ONCOMING TRAFFIC BLOWING THERE HORN BECAUSE OF COURSE I'M CLEARLY NOT GOING THE SPEED LIMIT ON THE HIGHWAY. I HAD TO CALL A TOW TRUCK TO TAKE ME TO THE CLOSEST NISSAN DEALERSHIP WHICH I'M NOT FAMILIAR WITH BECAUSE I'M OUT OF TOWN. BUT ONCE I GET THERE THEY TELL ME MY TRANSMISSION IS OUT AND I NEED A NEW ONE. I BOUGHT THIS CAR IN 2013 BRAND NEW I'M THE ONLY DRIVER AND MY TRANSMISSION GOES OUT IN 2017. I STILL DON'T BELIEVE IT'S MY TRANSMISSION BUT WHO AM I TO ARGUE BUT I HAVE TO PUT UP $4,200 AND I'M STILL PAYING ON THIS VEHICLE!!! I SHOULD HAVE WENT WITH MY FIRST MIND AND GOT MY CADILLAC. I WILL BE TRADING THIS NISSAN ROGUE IN AND INFORM EVERYONE I KNOW NOT TO PURCHASE A NISSAN AT ALL. MY WARRANTY DOESN'T COVER A THING, WOW!!! I'VE HAD 2 OTHER MECHANICS LOOK AT AND THEY SAY IT COULD BE MY SENSORS BECAUSE MY SPEEDOMETER STILL MOVES WHEN YOU GIVE IT GAS AND IF IT SITS A WHILE IT WILL GO FORWARD AND BACKWARD BUT NOT FOR OVER A MILE OR TWO. I REALLY WASTED MY MONEY ON THIS VEHICLE.
WHEN I DRIVE MY 2013 NISSAN ROGUE FOR OVER AN HOUR THE TRANSMISSION SWITCHES TO SAFETY MODE AND REDUCES THE SPEED IN THE VEHICLE. ONCE IT COOLS DOWN IT DRIVEA NORMAL. TJIS HAS PUT ME IN VERY DANGEROUS SITUATIONS WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY. DID ALL OF UTS SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE AND ALSO PAID DEALERSHIP EXTRA FOR A CVT TRANSMISSION EVALUATION. THEY SAID THE TRANSMISSION IS FAULTY. VERY DANGEROUS TO LOOSE POWER WHILE DRIVING.
LOSS OF ABILITY TO ACCELERATE. TRANSMISSION WILL GO INTO FAIL SAFE MODE AFTER APPROXIMATELY 20 MINUTES OF DRIVING REGARDLESS OF WEATHER, OR TOWN OR HWY DRIVING. IT HAS LEFT ME WITH BE ABLE TO GO 40 MPH OR LESS ON THE HIGHWAY. WILL NOT ACCELERATE AFTER STOPPING AND WHEN IT DOES THE RMPS WILL BE UP NEAR 4000 JUST TO GO 10-15 MPH. ON 3/31/2018 I HAD TO BE ESCORTED OFF THE HWY BY CHP BECAUSE I COULDN'T KEEP UP WITH TRAFFIC. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME IS HAS HAPPEN. IT OCCURS JUST ABOUT EVERYDAY. I HAVE CHECKED ALL MY FLUIDS THERE ARE NO LIGHTS ON MY DASH.
CAR LOSES ACCELERATION ON WARM DAYS AND DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY FOR 30 MINUTES PLUS. PRESSING ON THE GAS PEDAL TO ACCELERATE ONLY CAUSES RPM'S TO INCREASE BUT THE MPH OF THE VEHICLE DOES NOT. AFTER PULLING THE VEHICLE OVER AND GIVEN A CHANCE TO COOL DOWN, NORMAL OPERATIONS RESUME UNTIL THE FLUIDS IN THE CVT DRIVE HEATER UP AGAIN. THIS HAS HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES AND IS VERY DANGEROUS. IF YOU ARE IN A BAD POSITION ON THE HIGHWAY AND NEED TO ACCELERATE FOR SOME REASON ANC CANNOT, THIS CAN BE A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.
WHILE DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE IN A MOUNTAINOUS AREA, OUT OF NOWHERE MY CAR WOULD NO LONGER ACCELERATE. I HAD TO PULL OFF OF THE ROAD AND RESTART THE CAR TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE. NOW THIS IS HAPPENING ON A REGULAR BASIS IF I DRIVE MY CAR FOR LONGER THAN AN HOUR AT 60+ MPH, IT WILL SUDDENLY STOP ACCELERATING. IN ADDITION, IN THE LAST FEW DAYS, AFTER COMING TO A COMPLETE STOP ON THE INTERSTATE OFF RAMP, I TRIED TO ACCELERATE FROM A COMPLETE STOP AND THE CAR JUST BARELY MOVED, ENOUGH FOR ME TO HAVE PULLED INTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC, BUT NOT ENOUGH TO KEEP GOING TO GET MYSELF OUT OF THE WAY. I HAD TO QUICKLY REVERSE TO MOVE MY CAR FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD. IF THERE HAD BEEN A CAR BEHIND ME AND I WAS UNABLE TO REVERSE I WOULD HAVE BEEN HIT. THIS PROBLEM HAS BEEN REPORTED OVER AND OVER AGAIN AS AN ISSUE WITH THE CVT. MY CAR IS ONLY A 2013 AND JUST BARELY OVER THE (CRAPPY) POWERTRAIN WARRANTY THAT NISSAN OFFERS ON THIS CAR.
AFTER DRIVING FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME, THE CAR WILL SUDDENTLY AND CONTINUALLY FAIL TO ACCELERATE OVER A CERTAIN SPEED EVEN WITH THE FUEL PEDAL PRESSED TO THE FLOOR. I BELIEVE THE CAR GOES INTO A FAIL SAFE MODE DUE TO AN ISSUE WITH THE TRANSMISSION. THIS HAPPENED ON THE INTERSTATE AND I COULD NOT LONGER EVEN GET UP TO THE SPEED LIMIT
I OWN A 2013 NISSAN ROGUE.THAT I HAVE KEPT UP THE SERVICE ON AT THE DEALERSHIP FOR EVERYTHING, BUT WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY FAILED TO ACCELERATE PROPERLY. THE FAILURE WAS INTERMITTENT.THE MILEAGE WAS BETWEEN 80,000.TO 85,000. AT THAT POINT THE ROGUE BECOMES UNRESPONSIVE AND CAN'T ACCELERATE PAST 40 MPH. THIS IS INCREDIBLY DANGEROUS AND IT HAS LEFT MY FAMILY AND I STRANDED ON THE INTERSTATE 3 TIMES, NOW I CAN'T TRUST THIS VEHICLE AT ALL AND FEAR FOR THE SAFETY OF MY FAMILY. AND NISSAN FOR SOME REASON CAN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG WHEN THEY HOOK IT UP TO THE COMPUTER BECAUSE THERE IS NO CODE ERROR. (BUT THEY DO HAVE THE [XXX] TO TELL ME I NEED TO BUY A NEW TRANSMISSION FOR A CAUSE OF OVER $5000 BEFORE TAXES)THIS ROGUE IS ONLY 3 YEARS OLD, THIS ALL HAS BEEN VERY FRIGHTENING TO ME AND MY FAMILY, AS I AM ON THE FREEWAY EVERY DAY AND SOMEONE COULD VERY EASILY CRASH INTO ME WHEN THE TRANSMISSION FAILS OR EVEN WHEN I AM TRYING TO PULL OUT INTO TRAFFIC FROM AN ON RAMP OR OUT OF A PARKING SPOT IN THE CITY OR A TOOL BOOTH AND THERE IS ZERO POWER, I CAN'T EXPRESS HOW DANGEROUS THIS IS. I PULLED OUT ONTO ROUTE 125 IN PLAISTOW, NH AT A SET OF TRAFFIC LIGHTS AND THERE WERE CARS COMING UP QUICK BEHIND ME WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN I WENT OVER THE DRAINAGE IN THE ROAD I LOST ALL POWER AND STARTED SLOWING DOWN I HAD NO CONTROL OF MY GAS PEDAL, MY CAR WOULDN'T GO IT WAS JUST SLOWING DOWN FAST. IT WAS SCARY I ALMOST GOT REAR ENDED. WHEN THIS HAPPENED I NOTICED MY TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT LIT UP BLINKING. I HAVE READ MANY HORROR STORIES ABOUT SIMILAR SITUATIONS AND NOTIFIED THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY CANT REPLICATE IT SO WONT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. I COULD HAVE BEEN HIT HARD BC I WAS JUST GOING ALONG WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN MY CAR PRETTY MUCH ALMOST STOPPED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD, NO BRAKES, NOTHING. THE DEALER HAS OFFERED TO TAKE MY CAR FOR A PERIOD OF TIME TO DRIVE AND GIVE ME ONE IN THE MEANTIME TO TRY AND SEE IF THEY CAN MAKE IT HAPPEN AGAIN. THIS IS SOMETHING THAT IS SERIOUS, ESPECIALLY WHEN IN FAST MOVING TRAFFIC AND THIS WAS TO HAPPEN TO ME OR ANYONE WITH THIS CAR AGAIN. *TR
