This recall 22V624000 was issued in August of 2022 and it is now September of 2023, over a year since it was recalled and Subaru still does not have a remedy according to NHTSA website and my local Subaru dealer. Does it really take more than 13 months to redesign a few parts in a headlamp assembly and get it manufactured? Covid is no longer an excuse. When will someone put Subaru on notice to get this done? Does Subaru have some sort of deadline as to when they are required to get this done? Please help us!
Last August, a recall on Subaru Impreza headlamps was issued. To date, these have not been remedied and Subaru has no information about repair dates.
Got a recall notice about my headlamps almost a year ago, everytime I go on nhtsa.gov it always says "Remedy not yet available". It also says "Recall data refreshed on Aug 17,2022"--have there been any updates to this data since then? Seems like this recall was put out there and then forgotten about.

I'm really concerned by the recall notice from Subaru that my chances of a crash are increased due to inadequate headlamps. I've had a handful of instances where other vehicles have not seen me and just stopped before pulling out in front of me. I was notified of this defect last October. It's now July. When will Subaru have a remedy to keep me safe?
There is an open recall on my car for the headlights which currently has no fix and none of the dealerships I've spoken to have the parts to fix it. At one dealership they even attempted to sell me new headlights, claiming that the dimness of my headlights has to do with the fact that they're not LED bulbs and not the recall. The car is unsafe to drive at night due to the fact that they are very dim, and when the weather is bad the car can't be driven at all due to the fact that you can't see anything let alone that other drivers can't see this car. No dealership will provide any information other than they don't have the parts.

HEADLIGHTS DO NOT ILLUMINATE THE ROADWAY WITH ENOUGH LIGHT. This recall was entered on Aug 12, 2022 when do they have to fix it? What is a "timely manner?" How long are they allowed to wait. I called Subaru and they indicate they have no definitive time that they have to fix it? Why do they have unlimited time to fix a safety issue? It's been 10 months and you would think they would have the parts by now or are they stalling so that they will have a reduced number of cars to fix? I think the government should step up their enforcement on this issue and get Subaru to provide a timeline for the fix and not just "when we get to it" response.
Received notice in August 2022 that there is a safety concern with this car's headlamp. There is still no remedy available. I am concerned for my safety while driving because they headlights are very dim and it's hard to see at night putting my safety and the safety of others at risk. 9 months to develop a new headlamp seems extreme for a car manufacturer.
There is a known recall for this vehicle. Our vehicle in particular is affected as nighttime visibility with the headlights on is terrible. Despite the recall, 9 months have passed and subaru is still without a remedy. Every day is dangerous as I commute prior to sunrise. Please address.
Subaru appears to be in no great hurry to remidy this recall. I have called them twice. This is safety related.

This issue is from Aug 2022 - my front lights are low that makes it hard to see when the weather is upon us like rain/snow/fog. Other cars barely can see my lights are on. I have a DMV check in 2 months and thought this may not let it pass.
