TAKATA RECALL VEHICLE HAS BEEN SITTING AT DEALERSHIP AWAITING FIX FOR OVER 2 MONTHS, AND HAS HAD AN OPEN RECALL FOR ALMOST 2 YEARS. OWNER HAS HAD MULTIPLE CONVERSATIONS WITH DEALERSHIP, AND THERE IS NO GUARANTEED TIME-FRAME FOR REPAIRS. OWNER IS STILL PAYING MONTHLY PAYMENTS AND INSURANCE ON VEHICLE, EVEN THOUGH SHE IS NOT CURRENTLY IN POSSESSION, NOR ABLE TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE SAFELY. OWNER HAS ALSO BEEN NOTIFIED THAT SHE IS NOT ABLE TO RESELL THE VEHICLE IN IT'S CURRENT "DEFECTIVE" STATE, THUS DECREASING THE VALUE OF THE CAR OVER 2 YEARS.

TAKATA RECALL WE WERE NOTIFIED ABOUT THE RECALL ON THE AIRBAG AND INSTRUCTED TO NOT ALLOW PASSENGERS TO SIT IN THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT UNTIL THE REMEDY HAS BEEN DONE. THE SAME NOTICE PROCEEDED TO INFORM US THAT THERE IS NO REMEDY FOR THIS PROBLEM. SO NOW IT HAS BEEN A YEAR AND THERE IS STILL NO REMEDY. IS THERE ANY INCENTIVE FOR THEM TO ACTUALLY EVER FIX THIS PROBLEM? IF NOT, THERE SHOULD BE.

TAKATA RECALL. THIS COMPLAINT IS REGARDING HOW LONG IT IS TAKING FOR A REMEDY FOR THIS RECALL TO BECOME AVAILABLE TO ME. SERIOUSLY IT'S BEEN MONTHS AND IF THE PROPELLANT HAS ACTUALLY KILLED AND INJURED PEOPLE THEN I NEED TO GET MY CAR FIXED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE SO I AM NOT PUTTING MYSELF AND MY PASSENGERS AT RISK.
TAKATA RECALL - I RECEIVED A RECALL LETTER OVER A YEAR AGO AND I AM STILL BEING TOLD THERE IS NOT A REMEDY FOR THE RECALL. I LIVE IN A VERY HOT AND HUMID CLIMATE NEAR CHARLESTON, SC AND I DRIVE MY GRANDKIDS AROUND IN MY CAR THAT COULD BE DEADLY. I NEED FOR TOYOTA TO EITHER REPLACE OR REMOVE THE DEFECTIVE AIRBAG BEFORE SOMEONE GETS HURT. I'VE HAD TO WAIT TOO LONG AND THE VALUE OF MY CAR HAS DECREASED BECAUSE OF THIS RECALL SO I CAN'T EVEN CONSIDER TRADING IT IN FOR A SAFE CAR. PLEASE HELP.

TAKATA RECALL - RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE IN JUNE 2016. AS OF TODAY, I HAVE NOT RECEIVED A NOTICE OF REMEDY. I CURRENTLY MAKE MONTHLY PAYMENTS ON MY VEHICLE, HOWEVER I CAN'T USE MY VEHICLE TO IT'S FULLY CAPACITY. THIS HAS BEEN EXTREMELY AN INCONVENIENCE NOT JUST FOR ME, BUT FOR MY FAMILY AS WELL. WE CAN'T FIT A FAMILY OF 5 UNTIL THIS RECALL IS FIXED.
TAKATA RECALL - I WAS NOTIFIED ON 1/16/2017 THAT THE PASSENGER AIRBAG IN MY COROLLA HAD A RECALL WITH NO CURRENT FIX FOR THE PROBLEM. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. THE AIRBAG IS CONSIDERED DEADLY IN THE DESCRIPTION OF THE RECALL, AND IT HAS BEEN ALMOST A MONTH SINCE I HAVE RECEIVED THIS RECALL, AND NO ACTION FROM TOYOTA. IT IS UNREASONABLE TO THINK THAT SOMEONE CAN GO WITHOUT USING THE PASSENGER SEAT FOR OVER A MONTH WITH A FAMILY AND ONLY ONE VEHICLE. AT A MINIMUM, TOYOTA SHOULD BE PROVIDING RENTAL CARS FREE OF CHARGE FOR ALL THOSE AFFECTED. IT IS ALSO UNREASONABLE TO HAVE TO WAIT THIS LONG, WHEN OTHER CAR MODELS HAVE ALREADY HAD THE TAKATA AIRBAGS FIXED. TOYOTA IS A REPUTABLE BRAND FOR A CAR, HOWEVER, GIVEN THIS SITUATION THEY HAVE PUT ME IN, I WILL RETHINK THEM IN THE FUTURE.
TAKATA RECALL - MY CAR WAS RECALLED FOR AIRBAG REPLACEMENT LAST MAY (2016) AND I WAS ADVISED NOT TO HAVE A PASSENGER IN THE FRONT. I HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO FIND OUT WHEN MY CAR WILL BE REPAIRED. I HAVE BEEN TOLD, MULTIPLE TIMES THAT THE PARTS ARE UNAVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. IF THE PARTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE, CAN I ASK WHAT IS BEING INSTALLED IN NEW MODELS. I BASICALLY HAVE A CAR THAT I CAN BE THE ONLY OCCUPANT WHEN THE CAR IS BEING DRIVEN.
TAKATA RECALL THE PASSENGER AIRBAG WE FIRST RECEIVED THE RECALL BACK IN APRIL 2016 I ALSO OWEN A 2011 SUBARU AND THE TAKATA AIRBAG WAS REPLACED BACK IN JANUARY 2017 SO I CALLED TOYOTA BACK IN OCTOBER 2016 THEY HAD NO ANSWERS TO WHEN THEY WOULD START THE RECALL REPAIRS, I CHECK THE WEBSITE TODAY AND STILL NOTHING HERE IS WHAT IT SAID HTTPS://WWW.TOYOTA.COM/RECALL REMEDY TOYOTA IS CURRENTLY PREPARING THE REMEDY FOR THIS CONDITION AND WILL PROVIDE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AS IT BECOMES AVAILABLE. TAKATA RECALL - I WAS INFORMED IN MAY 2016 THAT I SHOULDN'T USE THE PASSENGER SEAT OF MY CAR DUE TO THIS AIR BAG RECALL. IT IS NOW AUG 29 2017 AND STILL TOYOTA HAS NO REMEDY FOR THE PROBLEM. IS NHTSA ABLE TO DO ANYTHING TO SUPPORT THE CONSUMER? I BELIEVE TOYOTA IS SIMPLY IGNORING THE ISSUE.
