Odometer Fraud. The contact purchased a 2017 Toyota Corolla. The contact discovered that there was a mileage discrepancy after the purchase. The vehicle was an independent dealer sale. At the time of purchase, the vehicle mileage was 100,534. It was later discovered upon checking the Carfax Report, that the mileage was 112,085.
Odometer Fraud. The contact purchased a 2017 Toyota Corolla. The contact stated that while attempting to register the vehicle, it was discovered that there was a mileage discrepancy. The vehicle was a private sale. At the time of purchase, the vehicle mileage was 81,456 and at the time of registration, it was discovered that the mileage was 257,000.
All windows and all door locks stopped working by switches.
I reached out to the manufacturer several months ago about the recall and was told to wait for them to order the parts to fix it. I waited and reached out again and nothing has changed. I am not sure how to get to this recall fixed without the cooperation of the manufacturer.
SPEEDOMETER AND ODOMETER STOPPED WORKING AT RANDOM. DTC'S P0500 AND B2283.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS STOPPED, THE INSTRUMENT PANEL ILLUMINATED AND THE POWER SEIZED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A DEALER WHERE THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE DUPLICATED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 841. THE CONSUMER STATED THE ERROR MESSAGES READ CHARGING SYSTEM MALFUNCTION AND OIL PRESSURE LOW, ALONG WITH A MESSAGE THAT READ CONSULT OWNERS MANUAL AND TO TAKE THE VEHICLE IN FOR SERVICE.
