WHILE DRIVING THE FRONT TANK EMPTIED INTO THE REAR TANK WITHOUT WARNING AND CAUSED THE FUEL TO LEAK OUT. THE FUEL PUMP VALVE WAS THE MALFUNCTIONING PART OF THE CHECK VALVE TO THE FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY. DEALER IS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM. *PH *TS *NLM
WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED THE PUMP ON VEHICLES WITH DUEL FUEL TANKS MALFUNCTIONS. THE PROBLEM IS THE FUEL CROSS FLOW PUMP. WHEN THE PUMP KICKS IN, AND BOTH FUEL TANKS ARE FULL, THIS WILL SEND THE FUEL INSIDE OF THE CAB OF THE VEHICLE. *AK

THE DEALERSHIP SIOUX FALLS FORD HAS REFUSED TO HONOR A RECALL FOR THE FUEL LEAKAGE. RECALL#93V125000 PH THE CONSUMER WAS SENT A RECALL. THE DEALER STATED THAT THEY HAD FIXED THE PROBLEM/RECALL. THE VEHICLE WOULD NEVER RUN ON THE REAR TANK AND GASOLINE WAS POURING OUT OF THE CAP FILLER TUBE OF THE FRONT TANK. THE DEALER REPLACED THE FRONT TANK FUEL PUMP. THE VALVES IN BOTH FUEL PUMPS WERE BAD. THE DEALER REPLACED THE REAR FUEL PUMP AND THE FRONT FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY. SCC
FUEL CHECK VALVE IS CAUSING VEHICLE TO LEAK GAS. ALSO, AFTER FIRST TANK IS SWITCHED OFF TO SECOND TANK GAUGE MALFUNCITIONS. THERE IS ALWAYS A GAS DRIP OR PUDDLE BENEATH THE VEHICLE. DEALER WAS INFORMED. PLEASE PROVIDE MORE INFORMATION.*AK
