"TAKATA RECALL", DRIVERS AIRBAG TOOK FOREVER TO BE REPLACED. NEXT WE RECEIVE RECALL FOR PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG REPLACEMENT. CONTACTED SEVERAL FORD DEALERS FOR INFORMATION ON WHEN REPLACEMENT PARTS WOULD BE AVAILABLE. NONE OF THE LOCAL FORD DEALERS HAVE A CLUE WHEN REPLACEMENT IS COMING, YET THEY KEEP BUILDING NEW FORDS EVERYDAY WITH ALL TYPES OF AIRBAGS INSTALLED. WHY CAN'T THERE BE A FIX FOR THE 2012 FORD MUSTANG GT PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG? NOW TAKATA HAS FILED FOR BANKRUPTCY. DATES ENTERED ARE NOT EXACT, BUT I DO HAVE DOCUMENTATION REQUESTING RECALL ACTION ON MY VEHICLE. WHERE DO I TURN TO NEXT.
TAKATA RECALL - FORD DEALER IS UNABLE TO GET REPLACEMENT PARTS.
"TAKATA RECALL" NO REPLACEMENT PART HAS BEEN PROVIDED NOR AN ANTICIPATED DATE FOR IT TO BE AVAILABLE. I AM NOT ALLOWING ANY PASSENGERS TO RIDE IN MY VEHICLE AND IT HAS BEEN NECESSARY FOR ME TO RENT VEHICLES ON OCCASIONS WHERE I NEED TO TRANSPORT PEOPLE. A REPLACEMENT PART OR INSTRUCTIONS FOR REMOVAL OF THE RECALLED PART SHOULD HAVE BEEN PROVIDED BY NOW. I HAVE A VEHICLE I CAN'T DRIVE AND I CAN'T SELL. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. I NEED SOME ASSISTANCE, PLEASE.
TAKATA RECALL. I RECEIVED A LETTER FROM FORD IN MARCH 2017 STATING MY PASSENGER AIRBAG IS BEING RECALLED. I CALLED THEM IN MAY AND THEY STILL DIDN'T HAVE A REPLACEMENT AVAILABLE. I CALLED THEM TODAY AND THEY STILL DON'T HAVE THEM AND COULDN'T TELL ME WHEN THEY WOULD BE AVAILABLE. I ASKED FOR A LOANER AND THEY DENIED ME ONE. I NOW HAVE A CAR THAT ONLY I CAN RIDE IN AND THEY WON'T GIVE ME A LOANER. THIS AMOUNT OF TIME TO REPLACE MY AIRBAG IS WAY BEYOND REASONABLE.

TAKATA RECALL. FRONTAL PASSENGER AIRBAG INFLATOR MAY RUPTURE AND HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED. RECEIVED NOTIFICATION THROUGH THE MAIL MARCH 2017. I'VE CONTACTED VISTA FORD OF WOODLAND HILLS CA NUMEROUS TIMES SINCE THE FIRST NOTIFICATION & ALSO SPOKE TO THE MGR. OF SERVICE JEFF HARKNESS. JEFF INDICATED HE HAS NO INFORMATION ON WHEN THE REPLACEMENT PARTS WILL BE AVAILABLE WHATSOEVER. NEED TO HAVE THE AIRBAG REPAIRED ASAP. IF IT RUPTURES, IT MIGHT KILL OR SEVERALLY INJURE SOMEONE. ALREADY HAD ON AIRBAG REPLACED ON THE DRIVER SIDE, NOW THE PASSENGER SIDE?
TAKATA RECALL, I HAVE CALLED FORD ABOUT THE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG MANY TIMES AND HAVE HAD NO REASONABLE REPLY TO THE QUESTION WHEN WILL IT BE DONE I AM CONSTANTLY CONCERNED FOR MY FRONT SEAT PASSENGER SAFETY I THINK FORD WOULD KNOW AT LEAST A TIME FRAME FOR THIS REPAIR BUT I ALWAYS GET WE DON'T KNOW.

I HAVE RECEIVED BANKRUPTCY NOTICE REGARDING THIS AND DO NOT FEEL THAT I SHOULD HAVE TO PAY TO GET THIS FIXED, IF PARTS ARE FINALLY AVAILABLE. I HAVE HAD A RECALL ON THE SAFETY OF MY AIRBAGS SINCE MARCH 2017 AND TO THIS DAY IN OCTOBER 2017, THE PARTS AREN'T AVAILABLE FOR REPAIRING THIS SAFETY ISSUE. IF I WERE TO GET IN AN ACCIDENT, THE AIRBAGS COULD CAUSE SERIOUS HARM OR DEATH. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE, THE PARTS NEED TO BE RELEASED IMMEDIATELY.

I HAVE CALLED SEVERAL FORD DEALERSHIPS TO HAVE MY TAKATA AIR BAG RECALL SERVICE AND THEY ALL SAY THERE ARE NO PARTS AND I HAVE TO WAIT FOR MONTHS TO GET AN AIR BAG PART. WHEN I CALL THE NATIONAL FORD CUSTOMER SERVICE LINE, I GOT THROUGH THE PHONE TREE AND CHOSE TAKATA AIR BAG WHICH HUNG UP ON ME AFTER 5 MINUTES OF DEAD AIR. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR FROM AN AUTO MANUFACTURER WITH A RECALL ONGOING.

I HAVE BEEN WAITING ALMOST TWO YEARS IT SEEMS FOR PARTS TO BECOME AVAILABLE TO REPLACE MY PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG. THERE HAS BEEN BARELY ANY NEWS ABOUT THIS SUBJECT AND MANY OF US ARE STARTING TO LOSE HOPE THAT THEY ARE EVEN REALLY CONCERNED ABOUT GETTING THESE THINGS REPLACED. I AM UNABLE TO EVEN HAVE MY GIRLFRIEND IN THE CAR ANYMORE BECAUSE SHE FEELS UNSAFE. I'M UNABLE TO SELL THE CAR BECAUSE PEOPLE FEEL UNSAFE. AND I'M UNABLE TO TRADE THE CAR IN BECAUSE THE RECALL IS GIVING THE DEALERSHIPS REASON TO LOW-BALL ME. I LIVE IN FLORIDA WHERE IT IS VERY HUMID WHICH IS WHAT SUPPOSEDLY CAUSING THESE THINGS TO DETERIORATE, AND YET I'VE GOTTEN NO NEWS FOR MONTHS ABOUT WHEN MY REPLACEMENT WILL BE READY.
