Bad harness wiring for 3rd Backup Brake light and now Backup Camera. Received a recall for backup camera. Good info to correct safety hazard. Waiting for backup camera harness to arrive at Wynne Ford Dealership. I took my vehicle in for safety inspection to Wynne Ford, Hampton, VA, 757-838-3673 and 3rd Backup Light Failed Inspection because of safety hazard. On 24 Mar 2020 Wynne Ford installed a harness for the bad wiring. Cost to fix safety hazard out of pocket was $279.41. Request reimbursement of $279.41 to cover my expense on a safety hazard.

BACKUP CAMERA NOT WORKING. CAR HAS POOR VISIBILITY WHEN BACKING UP WITHOUT THE CAMERA. MESSAGE SAYS CAMERA NOT AVAILABLE. THE DEALER SAID IT?S THE WIRING HARNESSES AND WANTS $900.00 TO REPLACE . FORD HAS BAD DESIGN WITH THE SHORT CABLE IN THE TRUNK AND THE MATERIAL USED TO WRAP THE WIRES.
