I have a 2019 Ford ranger that was built June 24th 2019 the internet states that any Ford ranger 2019 XLT built before July 30th 2019 has a recall for the HVAC system in the blower motor well my truck did not make the recall list but yet it has every single issue that they recall every time I call all they say is my vehicle VIN number is not on the recall but what is the chances that my blower motor and my blend door actuator does not work. When I bought the truck in 2021 I heard a ticking noise but the air still worked me being a female never thought much of it I thought it was my radio or something so this problem has existed since the day I bought it with 20,000 miles on it from the dealership. it has been tested by the Ford motor company and it does not work I have the same symptoms same issues and I should have my truck in the recall to get my air conditioner fixed it is a 4 year old truck and should not be broken I have on the truck for 4 years I bought it at 20,000 miles there's a ticking behind the dash and the blower motor does not work. I am disabled and live in South Carolina where is over 100° so it is a safety issue my truck should be on the recall the dealer should fix it how do I get this taken care of
There's something wrong with the heater motor or the heater itself. When the heat is on even at the lowest setting the heat is too high. It gets very hot in the vehicle and I have to turn the heat off. The vehicle will fog up when the heater is turned off. There's also a smell like something's burning or overheating and there are clicking noises coming from behind the radio/ heater area. Also If the AC is turned on only the passenger side gets cold, and the driver side blows very hot air. The heat is on even in AC mode, very frustrating.
The contact owns a 2019 Ford Ranger. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the air conditioner was activated. The air conditioner made a ticking sound. In addition, the A/C started blowing out hot air. The contact stated that the failure occurred when the temperature was 100 degrees. The contact stated that because of health issues, the air conditioner was required during the heated temperatures. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed with a failed A/C blower motor. The contact was informed that the A/C blower motor needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 120,000.
The contact owns a 2019 Ford Ranger. The contact stated while driving 50 MPH, the vehicle failed to accelerate properly. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact was able to pull over on the side of the road. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the contact was informed that the spark plugs were blown out with the coil. The contact was informed that the spark plugs, and coil needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and stated that the vehicle was out of warranty. No further assistance was offered. The failure mileage was 17,000.
My brake lights, turn signals, running lights, and hazards don't work. The Ford dealership has inspected it. There were no warning signs or symptoms prior to failure.
Both of my taillights no longer work, at first it was intermittent and they would come back on but after a while nothing worked. No turn signal, hazard, or brake lights for the rear taillights only. The overhead one above the bed still works. The vehicles behind me cannot tell whether I am braking, turning or driving. It appears this was a common issue on earlier vehicles in production. It has been reproduced by an independent service center. It has not been inspected by the manufacturer, and no there was no other symptoms prior to the failure other than the intermittent working and not working.
RODENTS KEEP EATING THE WIRING IN THE ENGINE CAUSING THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN DAMAGE.THIS HAS HAPPENED TWICE IN A TWO MONTH SPAN. I FOUND INFORMATION THAT FORD USES PLANT BASED MATERIALS TO COAT THE WIRING AND TO MAKE SOME OF THE HOSES. I'VE TRIED DIFFERENT MEASURES TO PREVENT THE RODENTS FROM DAMAGING THE WIRING TO NO AVAIL. THIS DAMAGE CAUSES MY ELECTRICAL SYSTEM TO FAIL AND KNOCKED OUT MY HORN AND OTHER VEHICLE FEATURES. IT DOESN'T SEEM FAIR AND GOOD BUSINESS PRACTICE BY FORD TO KEEP USING THESE PRODUCTS AND NOT TO INFORM BUYERS ABOUT THIS ISSUE. MY WIFE OWNS A HONDA AND HER VEHICLE ISN'T TOUCHED BY THE RODENTS.
THE INFO SCREEN WHICH CONTROLS HVAC FREEZES UP PREVENTING THE USER FROM CHANGING THE HVAC SETTINGS WHICH COULD CAUSE THE WINDSHIELD TO FOG OR FREEZE . VERY DANGEROUS...IT'S HAPPENING IN ALL FORDS NOT JUST THE RANGER YET NO RECAL AS OF YET

SOFTWARE THAT OPERATES STEREO AND ALL OTHER SOUNDS SYSTEM FEATURES FREEZES UP AND FAILS. VEHICLE MUST BE SHUTDOWN COMPLETELY TO REBOOT SYSTEM BEFORE IT WILL WORK AGAIN. THIS IS A REPETITIVE PROBLEM THAT NEEDS TO BE DEALT WITH.
A STRONG ACRID SMELL OF MELTING PLASTIC IS NOTICED WHEN I USE THE HEATING AND AC UNIT.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2019 FORD RANGER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT A CHIPMUNK ENTERED INTO THE VEHICLE AND ATE SOME ELECTRICAL WIRES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO BILL DUBE TOYOTA (40 DOVER POINT RD, DOVER, NH 03820; (603) 749-5500), WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED WITH NEEDING THE HEATING UNIT TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT CONTINUED TO EXPERIENCE THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER HAD BEEN INFORMED OF FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 7,000.
THE HORN DOES NOT ALWAYS SOUND WHEN YOU PRESS THE HORN SWITCH ON THE STEERING WHEEL. IT IS ESPECIALLY NOT LIKELY TO SOUND IF YOU TRY TO SOUND THE HORN IN AN EMERGENCY
I RECEIVED NOTIFICATION FROM FORDPASS THAT MY 2019 RANGER WAS IN DEEP SLEEP MODE AND THAT I NEEDED TO MANUALLY START IT. I GOT INTO THE VEHICLE AND DEPRESSED THE BRAKE PEDAL AS NORMAL AND PRESSED THE START BUTTON. MANY THINGS HAPPENED SIMULTANEOUSLY. MOSTLY LIGHTS FLASHING ON THE DASH AND EVENTUALLY THE HEADLIGHTS SEEMED TO BE SENDING MORSE CODE. BUT THE ENGINE BARELY RESPONDED AT ALL. LATER I HOOKED UP A BATTERY CHARGER AND WHEN SWITCHED ON THE GAUGE BOUNCED BACK AND FORTH SO FAST IT APPEARED TO BE AN AIRCRAFT PROPELLER. THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY IN MY DRIVEWAY.
