THE ACCIDENT WITH MY 2009 TOYOTA COROLLA I BELIEVE IS DUE TO BRAKE FAILURE. THIS VEHICLE HAS MANY FEATURE THAT WERE SUPPOSED TO REACT IN SITUATIONS OF MINOR ICE AND/OR SLIDING. THE SLIDING LIGHT, OR "VSC/TRAC INDICATOR" (PG. 158 OF OWNER'S MANUAL), COMES ON EVEN WHEN THE VEHICLE SLIDES. EVEN WHEN THE CAR SLIDES SO SLIGHTLY THAT YOU CANNOT FEEL IT, THAT LIGHT WOULD COME ON TO WARN THE DRIVER OF THE POTENTIAL HAZARD, ACCORDING TO THE MANUAL "IF THE VEHICLE IS IN DANGER OF SLIPPING OR THE FRONT WHEELS SPIN, THE INDICATOR FLASHES TO INDICATE THAT THE VSC/TRAC HAVE BEEN ENGAGED. A BUZZER (INTERMITTENT) SOUNDS TO INDICATE THAT VSC IS OPERATING." THE CAR WAS ALSO EQUIPPED WITH ANTILOCK BRAKES. AS I WAS TRYING TO SLOW DOWN, I COULD INSTANTLY TELL MY BRAKES WERE NOT RESPONDING. I HIT THEM HARDER, STILL NO RESPONSE. I HAD BOTH FEET ON THE BRAKES PUSHING DOWN WITH ALL MY FORCE & STILL FELT AND HEARD NOTHING FROM THE CAR. USUALLY IN SUCH CASE, EVEN IF THE VEHICLE IS SLIPPING, THE DRIVER SHOULD HEAR A TRIPPING NOISE, THAT THE ANTILOCK BREAKS ARE RESPONDING OR AT LEAST ATTEMPTING TO. BUT NONE OF THAT HAPPENED. THE SLIDING LIGHT DID NOT TURN ON, THE CAR DID NOT REACT TO ME HITTING THE BRAKES OR EVEN SHOW ANY SIGNS OF STRUGGLING TO, & THE ANTILOCK BRAKES DID NOT ENGAGE. ALSO, I JUST HAD 4 NEW MICHELIN HYDROEDGE TIRES INSTALLED JUST A FEW WEEKS PRIOR, (RANKED #1 BY CONSUMER REPORT), MAKING ME BELIEVE THAT THE BRAKES WERE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE. LASTLY, THE CAR HAS BEEN WELL-MAINTAINED SINCE IT WAS ORIGINALLY PURCHASED FROM THE DEALER, & ALL MAINTENANCE HAS BEEN DONE ONLY AT A TOYOTA DEALERSHIP, INCLUDING A 27 POINT INSPECTION WITH EVERY OIL CHANGE, & ALL RECORDS OF SUCH ARE AVAILABLE. I UNDERSTAND OF COURSE THAT ICE TRUMPS ALL, INCLUDING VEHICLE SAFETY MEASURES, BUT I STILL BELIEVE STRONGLY THAT THE CAR DID NOT REACT AS IT SHOULD HAVE ON A MECHANICAL AND TECHNICAL LEVEL WHATSOEVER. *TR
I HAVE A 2009 TOYOTA COROLLA LE THAT I PURCHASED A MONTH AGO AND IS STILL UNDER FACTORY WARRANTY. A FEW DAYS AGO I WENT TO STOP MY VEHICLE AND THE BRAKE PEDAL WENT ALL THE WAY FLUSH TO THE GROUND. THERE WAS NOT ANY RESISTANCE AT ALL AND WAS FORCED TO USE THE EMERGENCY BRAKE TO PREVENT A COLLISION. HAD CAR TOWED TO THE TOYOTA DEALERSHIP AND TWO DAYS LATER THEY ARE INFORMING ME THAT THEY ARE UNABLE TO FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH THE BREAKS. I PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE FOR MY 17 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER TO DRIVE TO SCHOOL AND AM VERY WEARY ABOUT BEING TOLD THAT NOTHING IS WRONG WITH THE VEHICLE. I THEN BEGAN TO RESEARCH ON THE COMPUTER TO SEE IF THIS MIGHT BE A RECALLED ITEM OR IF ANYONE ELSE HAS HAD THIS SIMILAR PROBLEM. WELL SURE ENOUGH THERE HAVE BEEN SEVERAL TOYOTA COROLLA OWNERS WITH THE SAME YEAR THAT HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM THAT I EXPERIENCED. I WOULD APPRECIATE IF SOMEONE COULD CHECK INTO THIS FOR NOT ONLY ME BUT FOR EVERYONE'S SAFETY. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 TOYOTA COROLLA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR REPAIRS UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 09V338000 (SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC:POWER ASSIST:VACUUM). AFTER REPAIRS, THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING 45 MPH AND APPLIED THE BRAKES. THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT RESPOND IMMEDIATELY. THE FAILURE OCCURRED CONSTANTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE THE TECHNICIAN STATED THAT THE RECALL REPAIRS WOULD NEED TO BE PERFORMED A SECOND TIME BUT THE MANUFACTURER WOULD NOT COVER THE COSTS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT FURTHER REPAIRED. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED ANY BRAKE FAILURE PRIOR TO THE RECALL REPAIR. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 10,758.
ON JANUARY12, 2011 AT 3:45PM MY DAUGHTER WAS DRIVING HOME FROM SCHOOL AND UP THE DRIVEWAY TO PARK. HER 2009 TOYOTA COROLLA WOULD NOT STOP AND IT DROVE THROUGH A FLOWER BED AND INTO OUR HOME. THERE WAS EXTENSIVE DAMAGE TO HER VEHICLE AS WELL AS OUR HOME. THE AIR BEG DID NOT DEPLOY AND SHE WAS NOT INJURED. SHE CALLED ME IMMEDIATELY AND SAID "DADDY... THE CAR WOULD NOT STOP". SHE TOLD ME THAT SHE WAS DEPRESSING THE BRAKE WITH ONE FOOT AND THEN BOTH FEET IN AN EFFORT TO GET THE CAR TO STOP.THE TOYOTA COROLLA ACCELERATOR AND BRAKE ISSUE ARE MORE THAN A COINCIDENCE.IF MY DAUGHTER IS INNOCENT OF NEGLIGENCE, I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE THOSE WHO ARE RESPONSIBLE PAY FOR THE DAMAGES THAT WE HAVE INCURRED AND CLEAR MY DAUGHTERS NAME OF ANY WRONGDOING. *TR
2009 TOYOTA COROLLA. CONSUMER STATES THAT SHE PRESSED THE ACCELERATOR AND THE BRAKE PEDAL AT THE SAME TIME AND THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED THROUGH A FENCE. SHE FINALLY GOT THE VEHICLE TO STOP BEFORE CRASHING INTO THE BUILDING. *KB THE CONSUMER STATED HE ACCELERATED THROUGH A FENCE CAUSING $7,566.05 IN DAMAGE TO HIS VEHICLE. THE CONSUMER STATED EVEN THOUGH THE ACCIDENT WAS DUE TO DRIVER ERROR, THE VEHICLE WAS POORLY DESIGNED. THE DIFFERENTIAL IN HEIGHT BETWEEN THE GAS PEDAL AND THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS 1 TO 1. 25 INCHES WHEN NEITHER WAS DEPRESSED. THEY CAN VERY OFTEN BE AT THE SAME HEIGHT WHEN BOTH WERE DEPRESSED TOGETHER WHICH COULD CAUSE DRIVER CONFUSION AS TO WHERE THE FOOT WOULD BE. TO ADD TO THE PROBLEM, THERE WAS A FIREWALL HUMP 1 INCH TO THE RIGHT OF THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL. THIS LEAVES ONLY 5.75 INCHES BETWEEN THAT WALL AND THE RIGHT EDGE OF THE BRAKE PEDAL. THE CONSUMER STATED THERE WAS NOT ENOUGH SPACE TO MANEUVER HIS FOOT. *JB
IN EARLY 2009 , ONE WINTER NIGHT, I WAS RETURNING HOME AFTER A NIGHT OUT, IT HAS SNOWING AND THE TEMPERATURE WAS BELOW ZERO. MY DRIVEWAY IS ABOUT 50 FEET LONG AND COVERED WITH SNOW AND MAY BE SOME ICE AND THEREFORE BECOME SLIPPERY. FROM THE CURB, I ACCELERATE SLIGHTLY TO GET OVER ONTO THE DRIVEWAY, AND THEN I BRAKE IMMEDIATELY ONCE ON THE DRIVEWAY. THIS IS WHEN I REALLY SUDDENLY FOR NO REASON THE CAR IS ACCELERATING QUICKLY AND IS GOING TO HIT MY GARAGE. I BRAKE HARD AND FIND THE CAR CONTINUE ACCELERATING UNTIL IT HIT THE BACK OF MY STAND ALONE GARAGE AND CRACKED A FEW 2 BY 4 PILLARS. MY CAR SUFFER NO DAMAGE. WHEN I REPORTED THIS TO TOYOTA ONLINE, I GOT NO RESPONSE FROM TOYOTA CANADA OTHER THAN THIS, I AM VERY HAPPY ABOVE MY COROLLA AND I DON'T HAVE ANY OTHER BRAKE PROBLEM SINCE THEN. *TR
BRAKES DO NOT RESPOND ON TIME. AFTER PRESSING THE BRAKE, CAR DID NOT STOP ON TIME AND HIT A SMALL POLE IN FRONT OF THE STORE AND HAD FRONTAL BUMPER DAMAGE. AT FIRST I DID NOT KNOW THE REASON. NOW I KNOW THE RECALL ON TOYOTAS DUE TO BRAKE DEFECTS. *TR
WHILE APPLYING THE BRAKES (2009 TOYOTA COROLLA LE 38,000MILES) ON THE SNOW OR SLICK CONDITION ROAD THE WHEELS WOULD CONSTANTLY STOP/ROTATE AS SOON I WOULD PRESS ON THE BRAKE PEDAL AND PREVENTED ME FROM STOPPING UNTIL THE CAR SLID INTO A DRY SPOT, CURB, OR SNOW BANK. IT SEEMED AS IF THE BRAKES WERE OVER SENSITIVE CAUSING THE BRAKES TO IMMEDIATELY RESPOND WITH THE CONSTANT STOP/ROTATE. FOR A COUPLE OF SNOW FALLS (09/10 SEASON) I DEALT WITH THIS BY SLOWING DOWN AND USING THE BRAKES WAY BEFORE MY INTENDED STOPS. ON 1/7/10 AS I WAS COMING OVER A SLIGHT DECLINE I PRESSED ON THE BRAKE IN RESPONSE TO A VAN ABOUT 150 FEET IN FRONT OF ME AT A RED LIGHT WHICH CAUSED THE CAR REAR END TO WHIP AROUND TO THE FRONT ACROSS ONCOMING TRAFFIC LAND INTO A SNOW BANK. AT THAT POINT THE CAR WAS STUCK AND HAD TO BE PULLED OUT. ALTHOUGH THE TIRES STILL HAD SUFFICIENT TREAD ON THEM (NO BALDING) I REPLACED ALL THE TIRES. THAT STOPPED THE OVER SENSITIVE REACTION WITH THE BRAKES. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 TOYOTA COROLLA. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS TRAVELING AT A SPEED OF 40 MPH THE CONTACT APPLIED THE BRAKES AND NOTICED A LOUD NOISE COMING FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN DIAGNOSED BY THE DEALER. PRIOR TO THE RECENT FAILURE, THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALERSHIP WHERE NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 10V023000 (VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL, ACCELERATOR PEDAL VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL, ACCELERATOR PEDAL) WAS PERFORMED ON THE VEHICLE. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 2684.
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 TOYOTA COROLLA. THE CONTACT RECEIVED A RECALL LETTER PERTAINING TO THE SERVICE BRAKES (NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 09V338000, SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC:POWER ASSIST:VACUUM) AND TOOK THE VEHICLE INTO THE DEALER FOR THE NECESSARY REPAIRS. THREE WEEKS LATER, WHILE DRIVING AT SPEEDS OF 25 MPH THE CONTACT DEPRESSED THE BRAKES DUE TO THE PRECEDING VEHICLE UTILIZING ITS BRAKES. THE BRAKE PEDAL WENT DOWN INTO THE FLOOR BOARD AND WOULD NOT ENGAGE. HE THEN CRASHED INTO THE REAR OF THE PRECEDING VEHICLE CAUSING MODERATE DAMAGE TO THE PRECEDING VEHICLE, WHICH WAS A LARGER PICKUP TRUCK. THE POLICE ARRIVED TO THE SCENE AND A REPORT WAS FILED. THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO ANY OF THE VEHICLE OCCUPANTS. THE DEALER WAS CONTACTED AND REFERRED HER TO THE MANUFACTURER FOR FURTHER ASSISTANCE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED, HOWEVER THEY WERE NOT RECEIVING ANY INCOMING CALLS. TO DATE, SHE WAS AWAITING A CALL BACK FROM THE MANUFACTURER. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE APPROXIMATELY 15,000.
I AM EXTREMELY UPSET BECAUSE MY BRAKES FAILED FOR A BRIEF (BUT SCARY) TIME TONIGHT ON MY WAY HOME FROM WORK. THEY ALSO MADE A VERY STRANGE NOISE. I HAVE 24,000 MILES ON THE CAR, ALMOST ALL HIGHWAY. PLEASE CALL ASAP. *TR
JUST GOT MY RECALLED TOYOTA 09 GAS PEDAL FIXED ( 02/03/10) AND RAN THROUGH A RED LIGHT (02/08/10) DUE TO BRAKES NOT WORKING AND SUDDEN ACCELERATION OF VEHICLE. LUCKILY THERE WASN'T A CAR IN FRONT OF ME OR ANYONE GOING THROUGH THE INTERSECTION. I WAS NOT DRIVING VERY FAST AND TRIED TO STOP AT LIGHT, I WAS PUSHING THE BRAKE PEDAL AND IT JUST FELT LIKE IT WASN'T GRABBING AND I HAD IT PUSHED TO THE FLOOR AND THEN MY CAR MADE AN ACCELERATING SOUND LIKE I REVVED IT UP AND I WENT THROUGH THE INTERSECTION. *CN

THE CONTACT STATED WHILE SITTING IDLE AT A TRAFFIC STOP WITH THE BRAKES DEPRESSED, THE VEHICLE ABNORMALLY ACCELERATED AND CRASHED INTO THE VEHICLE AHEAD OF HERS. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE AFTER THE CRASH. THERE WERE NO REPORTED INJURIES. THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THERE WERE UNKNOWN REPAIRS MADE TO THE VEHICLE. FOLLOWING REPAIRS, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT WHEN BRAKING TO A STOP, THE VEHICLE WOULD ABNORMALLY VIBRATE EXCESSIVELY. THE DEALER REPLACED THE ROUTERS ON THE VEHICLE HOWEVER, THE CONTACT BELIEVED THE FAILURE TO BE ASSOCIATED WITH NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 09V338000 (SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC: POWER ASSIST: VACUUM). THE CONTACT STATED THE BRAKES WERE INOPERABLE DURING THE UNINTENDED ACCELERATION FAILURE AND BELIEVED THE BRAKES WERE ALSO DEFECTIVE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 5,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 16,000.
REPEATED PHONE CALLS TO TOYOTA CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TO TWO DEALERSHIPS WERE DISMISSED AS NORMAL...WHEN THE 2009 COROLLA IS STOPPED AND THE BRAKE PEDAL PRESSES THE PEDAL TRAVELS APPROXIMATELY TWO TO THREE INCHES DOWN TOWARDS THE FLOOR BOARD. TLA*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 TOYOTA COROLLA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN DRIVING AT ANY SPEED, THE ABS BRAKING SYSTEM WOULD LOCK UP AND HE HAD NO CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED AT THE TIME OF THE COMPLAINT. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 12,000. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 36,000. UPDATED 12/20/10 *BF THE CONSUMER STATED AS HE SLOWED DOWN TO MAKE A RIGHT TURN, THE BRAKES LOCKED UP AND SENT HIM INTO AN UNCONTROLLABLE SLIDE NARROWLY MISSING SEVERAL VEHICLES AND CHILDREN. THE CONSUMER STATED HIS SPEED WAS ABOUT 20 MPH WHEN HE APPLIED THE BRAKES ON ABOUT 1/4 INCH OF SNOW WHICH HAD JUST STARTED TO FALL. THE CONSUMER STATED IT SEEMED AS THOUGH HIS VEHICLE HAS THE SAME ANTI-LOCK BRAKE PROBLEM AS OTHER TOYOTA VEHICLES. UPDATED 12/21/10
MY 2009 TOYOTA COROLLA SPORT HAS BEEN HAVING BRAKE ISSUES SINCE I BOUGHT THE VEHICLE ABOUT 3 MONTHS AGO BRAND NEW WITH ONLY 6 MILES ON IT. IT STARTED WITH BRAKE NOISES. BOTH ME AND MY GIRLFRIEND HEARD THEM. WE ARE NOT DEAF. I TOOK MY TOYOTA IN FOR SERVICE ON THE PROBLEM TWICE AND BOTH TIMES THEY SAID NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH MY VEHICLE. THE PAST WEEK I'VE NOTICED THE BREAKING HAS BEEN REALLY DIFFICULT AND YOU HAVE TO PUSH DOWN HARD TO STOP THE VEHICLE. SO TODAY; MY THIRD BRAKE COMPLAINT THEY TOLD ME I NEED NEW ROTORS AND THAT THE PADS ARE WORN DOWN THE METAL ON METAL AND THAT THE ROTORS WERE "GLAZED" OVER FROM THE EXTREME HEAT. NEW ROTORS AND THIRD SET OF BRAKE PADS AT 11,000 MILES? NEVER HEARD OF IT! SOMETHINGS WRONG AND TOYOTA WILL NOT ADMIT IT. *TR
I HAVE NOTICED THAT MY BRAKES ON MY 2009 TOYOTA COROLLA S HAVE BEEN NOT AS RESPONSIVE AS I WOULD ASSUME OR WANT THEM TO BE. THIS IS ESPECIALLY NOTICEABLE WHEN IT IS RAINY OR WET, OR EVEN DAMP OUTSIDE. I BEGAN TO NOTICE THAT WHEN IT WAS WET MY BRAKES SOUND LIKE THEY ARE GRINDING WHEN I STOP AND STOPPING DISTANCE IS SIGNIFICANTLY ELONGATED. FINALLY ON ONE RAINY DAY MY BRAKES FAILED AS I CRASHED INTO THE PERSON IN FRONT OF ME. IN ANY USUAL CIRCUMSTANCE I WOULD HAVE HAD ENOUGH TIME TO COMPLETELY STOP, HOWEVER MY BRAKES COMPLETELY DEPRESSED TO THE GROUND AND FELT THAT THEY HARDLY SLOWED MY CAR, RESULTING IN DAMAGE TO MY CAR AND INJURY TO MYSELF. I HAVE BROUGHT MY COROLLA INTO A TOYOTA DEALERSHIP TO HAVE THE BREAKS LOOKED AT AND THEY SAID THEY WERE COMPLETELY FINE, HOWEVER THEY WERE UNABLE TO REPRODUCE THE CIRCUMSTANCE UNDER WHICH MY BRAKES FAILED, THEREFORE RESULTING IN THEM SAYING THERE WAS NO ISSUE WITH THE BRAKES. I HAVE HAD ALL OF THE RECALLS DONE ON MY CAR AND I STILL NOTICE THAT THE BRAKES ARE NOT FUNCTIONING AS THEY SHOULD. *TR

I EXPERIENCED A FAILURE OF THE BRAKES IN MY 2009 TOYOTA COROLLA S. I WAS PULLING OUT OF THE PARKING LOT AT WORK TODAY AND APPROACHING A BUSY ROAD TO TURN RIGHT ONTO. APPROACHING THE TURN AT ABOUT 5 MPH, I PUSHED THE BRAKE PEDAL LIGHTLY TO GRADUALLY SLOW DOWN TO A STOP TO AVOID ENTERING THE ROAD INTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC. HOWEVER, WHEN THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS PUSHED, I HEARD A GRINDING NOISE AND THE CAR DID NOT DECELERATE AT ALL. IT MAY HAVE BEEN THE ABS ACTIVATING, DESPITE THE LOW SPEED AND LIGHT PRESSURE ON THE BRAKE PEDAL. I TRIED APPLYING MORE PRESSURE TO THE BRAKE, BUT THERE WAS STILL NO DECELERATION. ONLY WHEN I RELEASED THE BRAKES COMPLETELY (WHICH IS VERY HARD TO DO WHEN YOU'RE ABOUT TO DRIVE INTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC) AND REAPPLIED PRESSURE TO THE BRAKE PEDAL DID THE BRAKES ENGAGE AND THE VEHICLE STOP. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE HAD AN ISSUE WITH THE BRAKES IN NEARLY 20,000 MILES OF DRIVING THIS VEHICLE. *TR

ON A LATER DATE, THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF A RECALL ON THE VEHICLE UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 09V338000 (SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC: POWER ASSIST: VACUUM). THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR RECALL REPAIRS. THE CONTACT STATED THE VEHICLE WOULD CONTINUE TO EXHIBIT THE FAILURE WHEN DRIVING IN SNOW OR RAINY WEATHER CONDITIONS. TO AVOID AN ACCIDENT, THE DRIVER HAD TO PULL CLOSE TO A MEDIAN ON HER LEFT SIDE BECAUSE THE BRAKES DID NOT STOP THE VEHICLE AS EXPECTED. THE CONTACT WAS NOT PRESENT DURING THIS INCIDENT WHICH WAS THE FIRST FAILURE REGARDING THE BRAKES. THE CONTACT HAD NOT SPOKEN WITH THE DEALER OR THE MANUFACTURER TO-DATE. THE DEALER STATED THAT THEY WOULD REPAIR THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL THE FOLLOWING DAY AND THEN DIAGNOSE THE BRAKING SYSTEM. THE VEHICLE WILL BE REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN TO THE DEALER WHO REPAIRED THE VEHICLE SO THAT THE WARNING LIGHTS WERE NO LONGER ILLUMINATED; HOWEVER, WITHIN A WEEK THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER WHO STATED THAT THE ABS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INSPECTED WHEN THE COMPLAINT WAS FILED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 10,000.
MONTH: FEBRUARY AND MARCH 2010 WEATHER: DRY ROADS SPEED: LESS THAN 35MPH ON TWO OCCURRENCES, I TRIED TO BRAKE TO STOP MY CAR. THE BRAKES MADE A VERY LOUD GRINDING NOISE, AND THE CAR DID NOT SLOW DOWN. I RELEASED THE BRAKE AND THEN PRESSED IT ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR, AT WHICH POINT THE CAR STOPPED.
