AFTER SHIFTING THE CAR INTO PARK ON A SMALL HILL, THE CAR BEGAN ROLLING BACKWARDS. I APPLIED THE BRAKES AND VERIFIED THE SHIFTER AND THE DASH DISPLAY SAID THE CAR WAS IN PARK. WHEN I RELEASED THE BRAKES THE CAR AGAIN BEGAN MOVING BACKWARDS AS IF IN REVERSE, DESPITE THE INDICATORS SHOWING THE CAR IN PARK. AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS I MANAGED TO SHIFT THE CAR INTO DRIVE AND REPARK THE CAR, WHICH THEN WENT INTO THE CORRECT GEAR. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE GEAR SHIFT LINKAGE CABLE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS SCHEDULED TO BE REPAIRED. WHEN I ATTEMPTED TO PUT MY CAR IN PARK THE CAR KEPT MOVING. I HAD TO DRIVE TO A SAFE FLAT AREA TO STOP IT AND TURN OFF THE CAR. THE GEAR SHIFT CABLE WAS RIPPED IN HALF. I SEE THIS HAS BEEN RECALLED ON OTHER YEARS BUT NOT FOR 2007. I AM ALSO HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE POWER STEERING AND THE BRAKE LIGHTS ARE MALFUNCTIONING.
