When putting the vehicle into reverse the backup camera displayed an unusable red fuzzy screen. Backup camera was unable to assist in safely reversing and mirrors and parking sensors had to be used
i was driving on a highway and experienced a total failure of my electrical system which completely shut down with in 15 seconds i lost control of the car as i could not even move the wheel, subsequently T-boned by another car iwhich could not stop fast enough suffering total loss of my car of note prior to the accident (Sunday AM) on friday I had a battery replaced @ Firestone, see reciept attached that was the last repair for the care
Heated and cooled front seats stopped working. On inspecting the connector plug it is scorched or burned where the ground plug is located.
Backup camera recall repair failed to connect the problem. Backup camera still not functioning.
FORD LETTER DATED JUNE 2023, IMPORTANT SAFETY RECALL. 22S06, REAR VIEW CAMERA AND WIRING. PARTS AVAILABLE. PARTS ORDERED BY VIN ON JAN 31, 202, BY- SERVICE ADVISOR. WORK ORDER 29144. PARTS DEPARTMENT JULY 13, 2023 STATED PARTS WERE NOT ORDERED. FORD MOTOR CO. REPRESENTAIVE JULY 13, 2023 STATED GO TO ANOTHER FORD DEALER. DOESN'T FORD MOTOR CO. ISSUE A LICSENCE TO THAT DEALER TO COMPLY WITH FORD MOTOR CO., RULES? SAME THING HAPPEN, TO GO ANOTHER DEALER FOR A NOCK IN THE MUSTANG V-6 ENGINE.
Ford Motor Co. LTR. Dated March & October 2022. Safety Recall 22V082. Several times check with the Huntington Beach, CA. Ford Dealer. Last time in Jan. 2023. They order parts (kit) by VN number. Three different Service Adviser's stated they will phone me. Nothing Yet. Recall Notice 22R01, Brake pad was replaced. Works find.
The driver's side window will go up and down constantly when vehicle is turned off on my 2015 Mustang GT, so annoying and scary, hate for someones fingers to get caught in it, I can role them down and back up a million times and it still does it, I even open and shut the door multiple times, but still does it! Not sure what the insurance company would say about it if I told them. Maybe something to do with the lock, sensor, security system. When window is slighly down, it could be at risk for theft. (and Ford, lets not even dicuss your Shi**y paint job!)
WHEN USING DRIVER'S MEMORY FUNCTIONS, DRIVER AND PASSENGER MIRRORS TILT IN ONE DIRECTION TO IT'S LIMITS AND CLICKS MULTIPLE TIMES. DOES NOT GO BACK TO PRESET SETTING UNLESS THE MEMORY BUTTON IS PRESSED ANOTHER TIME.
BACK UP CAMERA REPEATEDLY WORKS INTERMITTENTLY CAUSING ME TO BACK UP INTO A POST, COSTING $1200 IN DAMAGES ELECTRICAL WIRES GOING TO TRUNK LID ARE INCREDIBLY THIN AND FLIMSY. THIS EFFECTS THE BACK UP CAMERA, TRUNK RELEASE, TRUNK LIGHT, ETC.; ALL OF WHICH HAVE FAILED AT ONE TIME OR ANOTHER. REPAIRED WIRING TWICE BUT THEY ARE SO FRAIL, THEY CONTINUE TO SNAP AND CAUSE MALFUNCTION THROUGHOUT THE CAR.
BACKUP CAMERA AND TRUNK BRAKE LIGHT DO NOT WORK DUE TO KNOWN FLAW IN TRUNK WIRING HARNESS DESIGN. WIRES INSIDE THE HARNESS BREAK FROM OPENING AND CLOSING TRUNK DUE TO COMPRESSION. DEALERSHIP HAS REPAIRED ONCE WHILE UNDER WARRANTY BY CHEAPLY REPLACING SECTIONS OF BROKEN WIRE AND CRUDELY WRAPPING THE ENTIRE HARNESS WITH BLACK ELECTRICAL TAPE, HOWEVER MORE WIRES HAVE BROKEN IN NEW LOCATIONS ALONG THE HARNESS. THIS IS A KNOWN DEFECT WITH A TECHNICAL BULLETIN PUBLISHED BY FORD. HOWEVER THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT REFUSED TO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THIS IS AN ISSUE COMMON WITH 15-17 MUSTANGS. DESPITE CLEARLY EXPLAINING WHAT WAS WRONG, THEY CLAIMED I WOULD HAVE TO PAY $125 DIAGNOSTIC FEE BECAUSE THEY DON'T KNOW IF THE WIRING MIGHT HAVE BEEN CHEWED BY 'VARMINTS.'
REAR BACK UP CAMERA WORKS INTERMITTENTLY WHEN SHIFTER PLACED IN REVERSE. SOMETIMES IT SHOWS DISTORTED IMAGES AND SOMETIMES IT JUST GOES BLANK WITH A MESSAGE ON THE SCREEN TO CONTACT YOUR FORD DEALER.
BACK UP CAMERA NOT WORKING ON 2015 FORD MUSTANG V6. DID RESEARCH ON FORUMS AND IT SEEMS LIKE A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE HAVING THIS ISSUE. IT HAPPENS WHENEVER YOU PUT THE CAR IN REVERSE FROM BEING STATIONARY.

BACK UP CAMERA HAS SAME SYMPTOMS AS 2020 FORD MODELS BEING RECALLED.8/4/20
WIRING TO THE REAR DECK GETS PINCHED WHEN TRUNK OPENS/CLOSES. REAR CAMERA AND TRUNK RELEASE DO NOT WORK AND 'TRUNK AJAR' DASH NOTIFICATION WILL NOT TURN OFF. THIS IS A KNOWN DESIGN DEFECT BY FORD. I HAVE CREATED 2 SEPARATE CASES WITH FORD CUSTOMER CARE AND THEY REFUSE TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR FULL REPAIRS.
BACK UP CAMERA WORKS AND THEN IT DOESN'T. I REFUSE TO GO TO DEALERSHIP JUST TO HAVE THEM SAY IT IS WORKING THEN TO LEAVE AND IT NOT WORKING AGAIN. I'VE READ FORUMS AND THREADS IT IS A VERY VERY COMMON. FORD NEEDS TO FIX THIS TOO MANY OWNERS HAVING SAME ISSUE. THIS IS A SAFETY CONCERN.
THE CAR INTERMITTENTLY WILL NOT START. THE DEALERS SAY THEY CAN'T FIX THE CAR WITHOUT A COMPUTER ERROR CODE WHICH THEY ARE NOT GETTING. I HAVE BEEN STRANDED WITH THE CAR ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS. I HAVE CHECKED ON-LINE AND FIND THAT OTHER MUSTANG OWNERS ARE HAVING EXACTLY THE SAME EXPERIENCE AND THEIR CARS ARE NOT GETTING FIXED EITHER. I ALSO CONTACTED FORD CUSTOMER SERVICE DIRECTLY BUT HAVE HAD NO FEEDBACK FROM THEM. I AM OUT OF OPTIONS AND DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. FORD NEEDS TO PROVIDE A TIMELY FIX AND HONOR THEIR WARRANTY AGREEMENT TO KEEP THESE CARS ON THE ROAD. THIS IS NOT THE ONLY ELECTRIC/ELECTRONIC PROBLEM I HAVE HAD/DO HAVE WITH THE CAR
BACKUP CAMERA MALFUNCTIONING, HAVE HAD SERVICED SEVERAL TIMES AND THE EXPENSE IS GETTING HIGHER AND STILL NO FIX. FORD KNOWS THERE IS A PROBLEM AND THEY REFUSE TO FIX BUT THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE THESE CARS HAVE SOO MANY BLIND SPOTS YOU CAN'T SEE BACKING UP WITHOUT IT. IT SEEMS TO BE WORSE WHEN CAR HEATS UP, IT ROLLS OR GOES BLANK AND WON'T COME ON AT ALL MOST DAYS. IT STARTS INTERMITTENTLY SO WHEN YOU CARRY IT TO FORD THEY SAY NOTHING IS WRONG BUT THEN IT GOES BACK TO DOING AND YOUR A DANGER WHEN BACKING OUT ANYWHERE WHY IS NOBODY DOING ANYTHING?? I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE IN JUNE OF 2018 AND IT WAS MESSED UP EVEN THEN WHEN THE PREVIOUS OWNER HAD IT. IT HAS BEEN IN AND OUT OF THE SHOP 5 OR 6 TIMES IF NOT MORE. LCD SCREEN REPLACED WIRES CHECKED AND NOW I'M HAVING PAY 300$ TO REPLACE THE WIRING HARNESS AND NO GUARANTEE OF A FIX. I FEEL UNSAFE AND HAVE BACKED OUT IN FRONT OF MOVING VEHICLES AND THIS IS GOING TO CAUSE AN ACCIDENT IF NOT FIXED. YOU CAN'T SEE IN THIS CAR WITHOUT IT!!CAN SOMEONE PLEASE DO SOMETHING THIS IS ALL OVER THE INTERNET AS A PROBLEM AND NO ONE HAS ANY ONE SURE SOLUTION BUT ITS DEFECTIVE AND COSTING A FORTUNE AND STILL NOT WORKING, WHILE FORD OVERLOOKS IT THAT'S SOO DANGEROUS!! YOU CANNOT SEE!!!
ONE WEEK AGO, OR FIRST WEEK NOVEMEBER 2016, I HAD NO AC AT ALL. GONE, ONLY THE FANS OPERATED, AND SINCE I LIVE IN SOUTH FLORIDA I WAS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. I CALLED FORD POMPANO WHERE I GOT BOUGHT THE CAR AND THE SERVICE PERSON SAID HE WAS FAMILIAR WITH MY PROBLEM AS MANY OTHER MODEL 2015 FORD MUSTANG HAD THE SAME PROBLEM - NO AC
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 FORD MUSTANG GT. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT 40 MPH, THE WINDSHIELD WIPER AND TURNING SIGNAL FLASHER BECAME INOPERABLE INTERMITTENTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 1,200.
THE PUSH BUTTON IGNITION SWITCH IS LOCATED DIRECTLY UNDER THE RADIO CONTROL BUTTONS. THE IGNITION BUTTON WILL SHUT THE CAR OFF WHILE IN GEAR AND IN MOTION. THIS HAPPENED WHILE I WAS IN A PARKING LOT, GOING ABOUT 5 MPH. MY HUSBAND ACCIDENTLY PUSHED THE IGNITION BUTTON INSTEAD OF THE RADIO CONTROL BUTTON AND SHUT THE CAR OFF. FORD HAS NO SOLUTION TO THIS HAZARDOUS DESIGN FLAW, AND TOLD ME THEY CAN'T RE-ENGINEER THE VEHICLE TO ELIMINATE THE RISK OF A SERIOUS ACCIDENT.
I AM THE OWNER OF A 2015 MUSTANG GT WITH COOLED SEAT OPTION. WHEN I PURCHASED THE CAR NEW IN NOVEMBER OF 2014 AND TRIED THE COOLED SEATS THEY WORKED WELL DURING THOSE COLD LATE FALL DAYS FOR THE HANDFUL OF TIMES I USED IT. AFTER IT GOT COLD DURING WINTER AND SPRING I DID NOT USE THE COOLED SEAT FEATURE AGAIN UNTIL APPROXIMATELY MAY 1, 2015. AT THIS TIME THE LOWER SEAT COOLER WOULD COOL THE SEAT BUT THE UPPER SEAT COOLER WOULD NOT COOL THE SEAT FOR ANY AMOUNT OF TIME. IN FACT QUITE THE OPPOSITE OCCURRED. WITH THE SEAT COOLING SET TO MAXIMUM OF 3 BARS THE LOWER COOLER WOULD GET THE SEAT COLD BUT THE UPPER SEAT COOLER WOULD ACTUALLY WARM THE SEAT UP. SEVERAL TESTS CONFIRMED THIS HAPPENING FOR BOTH SEATS, DRIVER AND PASSENGER. DUE TO THE DESIGN OF THE THERMOELECTRIC DEVICE BURIED AND ENCLOSED IN THE SEAT BACK, THE BACK SIDE OF EACH SEAT BACK WOULD ACTUALLY WARM AS WELL TO LEVELS VERY HOT TO TOUCH AFTER AS SHORT OF TIME OF 5 MINUTES OF USE. IT APPEARS THAT MANY OTHER 2015 MUSTANG OWNERS WITH THIS OPTION ARE EXPERIENCING THE SAME ISSUES. ALSO 2015 FORD F150 OWNERS WHO HAVE THE SAME DESIGN TED COOLING DEVICE ARE EXPERIENCING THIS AS WELL. I HAVE CONTACTED FORD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND REGISTERED MY COMPLAINT BUT NO FIX IS OUT THERE CURRENTLY FROM FORD THIS IS OBVIOUSLY A FAULTY DESIGN. ITS EQUIVALENT WOULD BE PUTTING A ROOM AIR CONDITIONER INSIDE A ROOM AND EXPECTING IT TO COOL THE AIR. ON TOP OF THAT WITH PROLONGED USAGE THE MATERIAL ON THE BACK OF THE SEAT WHERE THE TED VENTS ITS WASTE HEAT GETS HOTTER AND HOTTER AND COULD POSE A FIRE RISK WITH PROLONGED USAGE IN THE VEHICLE. CURRENTLY WE HAVE NO INFORMATION WHETHER OR NOT FORD IS EITHER AWARE OR EVEN HAS ANY INTENTION OF ADDRESSING THIS ISSUE I DO NOT USE MY COOLED SEATS FUNCTION CURRENTLY BECAUSE IT ONLY WORKS ON THE BOTTOMS AND HEATS US THE UPPER SEAT WHILE IN USE. THE UPPER SEAT WILL ACTUALLY BE COOLER IF LEFT OFF.
I EMAILED THE FOLLOWING TO FORD ON 2/9/2015 WITH NO RESPONSE TO DATE FROM THEM HELLO, I DON'T KNOW WHO TO CONTACT OR HOW TO GET MY POINT TO THE RIGHT PERSON, I AM HOPING YOU WILL MAKE SOMEONE TAKE NOTICE. I RENTED A 2015 MUSTANG WHILE ON VACATION IN JANUARY. I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY WHEN MY KNEE HIT THE KEYS ( RENTAL CARS ALWAYS HAVE THE EXTRA KEYS AND INFO TAG MAKING IT BULKY ANYWAY ). THE KEYS TURNED THE IGNITION TO ACCESSORY AND THE VEHICLE SHUT OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HIGHWAY IN TRAFFIC AT 70 MPH. AFTER THE NEWS REPORTS OF THE OTHER IGNITION RECALL THAT I HAVE SEEN ON ABC AND MY FIRST RESPONSE TRAINING, I STAYED CALM AND WAS ABLE TO GET THE VEHICLE OFF THE ROAD WITHOUT INCIDENT. I WOULD JUST LIKE TO MAKE SURE FORD KNOWS ABOUT THIS AND SOMETHING IS DONE BEFORE ANYONE GETS HURT. I NOTIFIED THE RENTAL COMPANY OF THE ISSUE. PLEASE INVESTIGATE THIS ISSUE AND LET ME KNOW THAT YOU HAVE AT LEAST READ MY MESSAGE. I WOULD JUST LIKE TO MAKE SURE NOONE GETS HURT AND THE ISSUE IS AT LEAST DUPLICATED AND INVESTIGATED. THANK YOU.
